We are honored and proud to receive the Groove Award for the top-scoring studio from all group dances over the weekend. We also received three nominations for Industry Dance Awards for tap "Santo Domingo, " lyrical "Voice of God, " and contemporary "Off I Go." Industry Dance Awards are prestigious awards and show the diversity of our dancers. Our goal was to receive at least one Groove Perfection.
Our dancers earned six Groove Perfections, which is almost a perfect score. Our senior lyrical "Voice of God" had the highest scoring technique award out of the entire competition that gave us the studio technique award.

The Arts Center of Ohio was founded in 2008 by Jill and Marty Garlock to provide one of the finest arts schools in West Central Ohio. Two years after opening, we doubled in size and needed additional studio and lobby space to accommodate our growth. The reason for our success is we offer positive, fun, and age appropriate classes from a highly trained and certified staff.
