Services
To become the leading provider for quality music instruction in West Michigan. For the last ten years we have been able to train students to become professional musicians, praise band musicians, and even teachers in our organization. If you are interested in reaching one of these goals or just have some fun playing music, we can help you achieve it.
My name is Randal Perkins and I have been doing instrument repairs for about 20 years. I have been the apprentice to repair man and Luthier Del Langejans for about 10-15 years. I have learned most of my craft from Del but I have also studied many books about the subject by the leading experts in the field.
How much is a setup? A typical setup will be $50 plus the cost of strings (Floyd Rose and Classical Guitars start at $70). Do we buy used instruments? Yes; we usually pay half of used value, which is about a third of what the item sells for new. What is your return policy? You may do so as many times as needed.

In the move to Michigan, I had packed a nice ukulele in the middle of clothing in my checked bag. Keep in mind that we were moving from Hawaii with two dogs, and our container would take 3+ weeks to arrive. We had our hands full! The ukulele was damaged. Randy did an incredible job repairing it for a very reasonable amount of money. It was a cool and ingenious fix. I will remain a loyal client.

Nice little music store. Lots of guitars and pedals and gear. My son is a percussionist, and he enjoyed looking at all the drum supplies. They have really good prices for drumsticks here, too. They also sell skateboards and skater supplies. There is a lot going on inside this store, and it is definitely worth checking out.

Had my acoustic dropped off to be setup and restrung. My wife took it to them at 11 o'clock and they were very helpful and great to deal with. They called at 6 o'clock the same day to let us know that the guitar was ready. We picked it up the next day and the guitar is perfect and better than new. Great job with the setup! Looks great and sounds amazing! I definitely recommend RIT Music over the chain store alternatives.

Stopped in when were visiting Holland for the Tulip Festival. Nice selection of gear that isn't your average Guitar Center stock. Walked out with a used Yamaha powered mixer that I have been looking for (and at a great price). The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I'll be back anytime I'm in the area.

Randy and staff are very attentive and can order anything you may need if they don't have it in stock. We have a left handed bass player in the family and he too lessons for many years with Rich. Our experiences both in purchases and lessons have been nothing but excellent. I always check here first when looking for an instrument or an accessory.

Terrible service. They guy behind the counter, a was a snobby punk who thinks he knows things that he doesn't, b. is too wrapped up into a 100 dollar gender amplifier sale that he refused to check into a Paula reed smith guitar. The guitar had new tags on it. When asked if it was new he said he doesn't know. I said the fate on the guitar is from 2009 so it either has sat for 5 years on his shelf new or is used. He rudely refused to answer. On a positive note, they have a nice selection. But the service is so terrible, who cares.
