What a pleasure it was to walk in and be told to "make myself at home". This place is a wonderful spot to enjoy the ivory and pinpoint the sound you've been looking for, through a selection of beautifully crafted and maintained pianos with customer service that goes above and beyond the experience all in the same. Ask for Ruth, this place is a gem.

Richmond Piano is the place to go if you want to adorn your home with a piano. Ruth is wonderfully knowledgeable and amazingly gracious. Stop by, say hello and buy a piano from Ruth - we did!

Richmond Piano agreed to buy our piano and drove to our house to pick it up. While getting our piano, their truck was parked in our driveway and leaked oil. We had oil stains under the truck and intermittently up the driveway through where they pulled out. We had to pay $750 to have the stains powerwashed out prior to selling the house. Richmond Piano refuses to pay for the remediation of their truck's oil leaks. If you want to work with a company that is ethical and responsible, avoid Richmond Piano.

Great selection of pianos from many different makers for all budgets. I bought an older Yamaha G1 and the technician voiced and tuned it to my specifications. Ruth and Rohan were helpful and patient throughout the process--they let me come by several times to try all the instruments in a peaceful, pressure-free environment.

I stopped by Richmond Piano looking for sheet music and discovered a store filled with the most beautiful pianos, all makes and models. Although I wasn't in the market for a piano, and they didn't carry sheet music, they were gracious enough to spend time researching and providing me with a list of stores in the area where I might find what I was looking for.

As an owner of a 60 year old Hammond Organ, they were able to provide me with the name of a repairman in the area who works on Hammond organs should I ever need one. If you're looking for a piano, this is the place to shop. You'll get excellent service along with a quality instrument.

This is an incredible place. Great pianos, I even found out that Hyundai makes pianos, didn't know. The customer service of Ruth & Rowland was excellent. They gave us great customer service and allowed our photoshoot for my fiance and I in the piano shop to go great. I am also considering to get a piano from here after test driving a couple grand pianos

I had the pleasure of visiting this piano store. I was driving past and thought I'd make a quick visit on a whim and I'm glad I did. Upon walking in, Rohan, one of the salesmen and marketing staff members, greeted me warmly and introduced me to the rest of the team there. Although this location doesn't offer lessons, Ruth was able to provide me a list of vetted piano teachers in the area.

I played around on a beautiful Steinway and Kawai in the back area. After I was done tinkering, Rohan was nice enough to show me around the repair and restoration workshop which was a real honor to get to see the craftsmanship and care that goes into restoration. They have a great selection of pianos available, from uprights to grands, and I was impressed with the price tags too as they were having a Memorial Day sale. Had I the luxury of space, I could have very well walked away with a piano today.

From the service, the personal attention, the selection of pianos and the fascinating workshop I was pleased. I would recommend a visit to players beginners and virtuosos alike, those interested in a quality instrument, or those looking to get a piece restored.

I drove almost two hours to test out a used Steinway grand. They knew three days before I went that I was coming to test out the piano. and it was not a cheap piano. I got there only to find that the piano I drove two hours was horribly out of tune. You can not hear the real colors of a piano that is not in tune. To me this is a testament to their customer service.

If they can not even have their product they are trying to sell in a presentable order, I can not imagine how bad their service is after you have given them their money. The owner was not a pleasant person to deal with as he seemed to have quite the attitude. He claimed they would have the piano tuned and call me to come back to test it out (I wouldn't have gone anyway) and I've yet to hear back from them. Go buy your piano from someone who cares about customer service and who is eager to earn your business.

My wife has been corresponding with the sales people for a couple of weeks on a very expensive grand piano and had agreed to pay full price with a slight break on shipping. We were all set to make a road-trip tomorrow to just make super-sure that this was the piano for us (2 hour drive each way, covid, but expensive purchase.) and received a text, 'We sold that piano today'.

Not honoring the arrangement or even a phone call makes me think that they were just stringing us along to secure a higher markup on someone else. Read the other 1-star reviews and make up your own mind before getting involved with this shop.
