Established in Grafton, Massachusetts in 1989, Apple Tree Arts is a non-profit community school for the arts serving people of all ages throughout the Blackstone and Assabet Valleys in S central Massachusetts. Our goal is to enrich the community through the arts, by delivering best quality educational music and theatre arts programs for individuals of all ages.
Services
Musikgarten offers instruction that is just right for each age level-from your baby who benefits greatly from being part of a live music environment, right up through preschool-age children who delight in exploring the Cycle of Seasons through dramatic play in a musical context. Beginning simply with singing, moving, and exploring rhythm instruments, we add levels of complexity as the children grow, expanding the singing repertoire, teaching more complex dances, and eventually tying the songs and activities to music notation, preparing students for further study in private lessons, ensembles, or just for life!
When your child begins music lessons at Apple Tree Arts, they're not just learning an instrument; they're becoming a part of the Apple Tree Arts community. All flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone, and voice will remain virtual until further notice. Please contact the office directly if you prefer virtual lessons, so that the teacher will be prepared with the necessary equipment.
Our first Community Chorus concert in years will be a mix of different genres - from classical pieces to Broadway numbers! We hope you'll come check it out this Friday! PianoPrep gives aspiring student musicians a creative outlet and is a fun way to learn to read music and build strong practice habits.
Apple Tree Arts' theatre programs encourage individuals of all ages to explore their experiences and identities. We facilitate a safe and healthy environment for youth participants through an engaging and motivating curriculum led by educators and artists specializing in their fields. A green frog feeling blue?

Apple Tree Arts has offered me the opportunity to share my singing in the community chorus for several years. In addition my daughter was able to improve her flute playing skills with the private lessons Apple Tree offers.

The poise and confidence my children developed through Apple Tree Arts' theater programs are lifelong attributes that will continue to positively impact them for the rest of their lives. Public speaking? No problem!

The 144 art pieces, on display was spactular. The venue was outstanding but a glass of wine for $9.00 was way over the top. Really.come on guys! I realize this event was the first one and might I add very well done. Well coordinated by talented people. The finger food was acceptable and a good varity. Work on that wine price! I could have purchased a bottle!

We have used Apple Tree Arts for our children for the last 8 years. We love their program and have used it from ages 2 up through private lessons. Miss Jan is wonderful with children - all my kids just love her and we are excited that our youngest is going to start her first class with Jan this fall. Our middle child takes keyboard and our oldest is now taking private piano lessons and they are both doing very well.

The new building is wonderful and will continue to improve as funding comes along to rehabilitate the space. It is a huge improvement over the old facilities and we are excited to continue to be part of the ATA family.
