In a Music Together Online, Outside or indoor class, we spend time with families--playing our shakers, bouncing on laps, marching & drumming, and much more-while the children are doing the marvelous work of teaching themselves through developmentally-appropriate play. Like always, the adults make music the grownup way while the children play the child way- through fun. Even at home, high-energy movers and quiet observers are all equally involved in their own way!

Ten to twelve families are led through a series of songs, dances and fingerplays by a trained teacher, who promotes the idea of learning music through play. You'll experience small movement/lap songs, large movement dancing and bouncing songs as well as quite a bit of percussive instrument play. We use shakers, drums, rhythm sticks, jingle bells, plus a lot more to supplement the music making.
Your Tuition includes a CD of High Quality music from around the world as well as a digital download code to unlock the music in the "Hello Everybody" app. Beautiful fully illustrated children's picture book which you can read and sing along to at home. You will receive a Parent guide chock full of research for everything we do! Materials will be given at the first class.
We are passionate about music and young children, and hope to inspire a whole new generation of music-makers who can sing in tune, move in rhythm and participate with joy and confidence as they create music with family and friends throughout their lives. We love what we do! Leslie has been the Center Director and teacher for Music Together of Summit and Chatham for over 20 years and Director of the Montclair MT family for the past 10 years! She is a singer songwriter and played jazz vibes for many years.
