Services
We have two formal recital a year at Grand Avenue Presbyterian Church in December and May. Students may participate in the Plano Music Teachers' Festivals at Collin College. Eligible students may audition for an Ensemble that will play at the State Convention. Students are encouraged to take the State Theory Exam offered by the Grayson County Music Teachers Association. A Festival and State Convention Ensemble are in the planning stages.
Researchers have discovered that very few well-known musicians showed signs of greatness in their early years. Musical talent is something that is developed with practice and hard work. As the saying goes, "if you practice, you will like music lessons, " not "if I like music lessons, I will practice."
