Kathryn Imani began studying piano at the age of 4. While completing her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, she studied piano performance and pedagogy privately with Lana Bodnar-Horton, and coached many of her students. After pursuing graduate work in San Diego, Mrs. Imani began teaching piano in a private school.
Song in My Heart Studio welcomes adults in all musical studies. Adult novices and pre-professionals may sign up for lessons. These programs are structured for adults who want to learn an instrument or brush up on their music skills. The curriculum includes ear training, instrument technique, and music theory.
There's a lot of serious learning going on, but we're all having too much fun to notice! This is the essential Music Together class for children 0-5. This class follows the recommendations of child development researchers-grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning.
