Services
Auditions are by appointment on Zoom with YpM's Artistic Director, Robert Barney, and take approximately 15 minutes. Are you a boy or girl between the ages of 8 and 18? Do you enjoy singing, performing and traveling with other young people who share your interests? Our principal works in recent seasons have included Britten's Ceremony of Carols, Faure's Messe Bass, and Davidson's I Never Saw Another Butterfly as well as choral music spanning four centuries.
Youth pro Musica has introduced the joy and fellowship of choral singing to the young people of Greater Boston since 1970. For many chorus members, their YpM experience has been the beginning of a lifelong passion for choral music. Maintaining a program like ours requires significant support. We count on our annual appeal to bring in much needed funding to produce concerts in new venues, hire an administrator, rent rehearsal space, hire instrumentalists, maintain our music library, order new music and more.
