We have seen his confidence sky rocket in many areas of his life because of his time at the studio. The BGS teaching program is based on playing fun pieces of music from all styles. You may even request to learn music from your favorite artists! Our experienced instructors give direction and motivation, allowing the student to master the fundamentals of guitar technique and theory while enjoying playing great guitar music.
How do you run your teaching program? Generally we give one half-hour private lesson each week at the student's reserved time. Since we work individually, the lesson material will be selected according to the desires and abilities of each student. 2. When do you schedule your lessons? We usually take appointments from 1 - 10 p.m. weekdays, all day Saturday, and Sunday afternoons. From time to time there may be special workshops or group classes of which the student will be advised. 3. Do you accept all levels of students?
The intimate sound of the classical guitar can add a certain understated elegance to your wedding as David Brandon performs traditional and contemporary favorites. A full wedding package can include pre-ceremony music, processional, unity candle, and recessional, with many other options available. The bride and groom may choose music from different styles including the ever-popular Pachelbel Canon, Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, Clarke's Trumpet Voluntary, and Wagner's Bridal Chorus.Reception selections include light classics, love songs, inspirational favorites, classical guitar hits.

After taking lessons from the studio for several years, I can confirm that David Brandon is a first rate, world class instructor who is wholly deserving of his impressive pedigree. As a Berklee graduate, I had the opportunity to study with several highly regarded guitarists in Boston, but without first studying classical guitar with David, I would never have been accepted into Berklee's program.
There are many other guitar studios in Lubbock, but none offer expert instruction in the instrument. It is amazing to witness a true master's legacy, as there are few skilled guitarists in the area without some tie to David's studio.

Best guitar instruction in Lubbock - in fact among the best anywhere. Run by a truly world-class player and excellent teachers. I took lessons here for years, and now my son is a weekly student. Brandon Guitar Studio is TOP NOTCH! Jared has been giving me and my son guitar lessons for over 2 years now. Jared is encouraging and patient no matter the age and skill level. Jared encourages his students to learn the music and style that they like which keeps the students interested in their instrument.

I've been taking lessons for about half a year now and in my 6 months there I've improved more than I did in my 6 years of teaching myself. They are always polite and a group of some of the best musicians in the country. Teaching is more important than money for them and they always work with me on payments and oftentimes my 30 min lessons go on for 90 minutes because the instructor enjoys teaching and everyone is having fun. I would recommend Brandon Studios. Definitely the best around!
