Alex Levin, Pianist

It was wonderful to work with Alex Levin. We've used his bands at 2 events, and they were spectacular. Alex was professional and courteous, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. You should look no further if you want a great jazz band at your next event.

Alex and his group were outstanding - they were attentive to what kind of music/atmosphere we wanted and presented several different ideas. They were very responsive, and were very helpful with all of the questions we had. They're at the top of my list for any future event that has live music.

The Smoke Rings were absolutely incredible for our wedding. Alex was extremely communicative via email and helped coordinate doing jazz versions of two country songs for our first dance and a parent dance. It was so incredibly special during our dinner and early part of our reception to have their beautiful music, and our guests complimented us the entire night. We could not recommend them more highly for any event, and thank you for making our wedding so special!

I hired a superb jazz band through Alex Levin Music for my friend's wedding, and all of the guests and relatives loved them! Alex did a great job of helping me pick the right configuration of instruments, and even though my friend was planning on having live music for the cocktail hour only, we ended up keeping them for a couple of sets during dinner. We hired Street of Dreams to perform at our wedding rehearsal dinner in Brooklyn for about 100 guests. They really hit it out of the park! We booked one of Alex's groups - The Smoke Rings - for our wedding in April 2013. They far exceeded our expectations and are a huge part of what made our wedding amazing. They have everything - talent, professionalism and personality. They were a joy to work with from beginning to end. They added exactly the right touch to our 1920's themed wedding that we were looking for and we received comments and compliments from practically every guest as to how wonderful the music was. I would recommend them to anyone and if we ever host an event where a band is needed, we would definitely hire them again!
