Hello, my name is Jack Tyrrell and I'd like to welcome you to my website. I have been teaching piano lessons privately for over thirty five years and love the challenge of working with both beginning students and professional musicians. I especially enjoy working with adult learners who have memories of playing when they were younger, as well as those who have always desired to play the piano.

I've been studying piano/music with Jack for about 10 years starting from scratch at an advanced age. Jack taught me rhythm, how to read music, music theory and good piano playing techniques. My primary instrument is guitar that I've played by ear for many years. The piano lessons and music theory taught by Jack have helped me become a much better guitar player. Jack performs out regularly and puts the same care and effort into his teaching as he does as a very skilled performer. You cannot find a better piano/music teacher in my opinion.
