Nothing but good things. The people are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They carry electric, acoustic, and bass guitars and amplifiers and percussion. They have a good selection of strings, instrument cases, other accessories and effects. If you need work done to an existing instrument they can do setups to major repairs. Great place, great people.

I needed a Les Paul for one song I am going to record in the studio. They held the last one for me. The price was warehouse price, not retail. I called to confirm the next morning. Their professional demeanor was refreshing and greatly appreciated. Compared to other stores, I'd say this one was best! I was going to ask if the guitar neck was adjusted, and the pick ups had been tweaked to perform the best and if it had been intoned.
I opened my mouth to ask and Kevin Brosh said he had done all of that before I came to get the guitar. No one else does this unless you ask, and they charge for it when you do, and mind you, it's supposed to come that way new. I told him I needed a case but those were too much for me to afford. Compared to other stores. Warehouse priced, not Retail for hard cases though yet again.
Then I asked Kaden at the counter what strings they carried. They threw in a pack of twelve star plectrums and a set of strings free. I couldn't ask for better and I'm extremely picky. Thank you C A Music!

Wow! What an amazing group of people! Went in to rent a violin for my 9 year old yesterday and I'm in awe at their knowledge and friendliness. Alan Cline helped us and was so efficient yet not rushed. He treated us like we were his only customer in a packed store. While I filled out paperwork I overheard every employee taking the same amount of time and patience with every customer. Stand up customer service all around. I cannot recommend CA music house's team enough! Their passion for music is contagious. Thank you!

We are so lucky to have such a great music instrument shop like C.A. House. Its always so cool to work with them, as they are incredibly helpful and humble despite being RIDICULOUSLY TALENTED musicians. In addition to an incredible selection and showroom, getting such expert help is just the icing on the cake. Every visit is always a blast- filled with laughs and lots of time in the acoustic room!

Without a doubt the best music store in the area. The selection is large and the staff is very friendly and greatly knowledgeable with top notch service. I buy all my gear here and have been for years now, and I will go nowhere else anytime soon. A great welcoming environment that I would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful support for All Phases of the instrument acquisition process. Because they were running low on a specific instrument that I needed, they only had instruments for rent. The first month's rent actually covered 2 months, which was nice in case a child does not want to play after 6 weeks. They also gave great advice for purchasing second-hand. Good assessment of my instrument purchased elsewhere. Quick look over and assessment was free of charge. But I know they have a full service department if I need it.

Very nice inventory with many major name brands. I was greeted at the door by the owner, Eric. Eric was very congenial and asked if I was looking for something specific. I told him that I'm a music junkie and was in town for the weekend, and was just checking out his store. Eric showed me around, opened doors, and I browsed. This store used to be located in downtown Wheeling WV, right across the street from the famed Capitol Music Hall.

I am a single mom, to a once very active 11 year old. In September he was diagnosed with Perthes disease, which caused him to give up 2 of the things he loved the most playing foot-ball and wrestling. This disease has extremely restricted his activities, no running, jumping or pounding. My child became depressed and didn't want to do anything.
Being a mom I tried to get him into things that he could do, joined the chorus and tried to let him join the band. Hence why I'm leaving this review. Rent to own an alto sax, gave them my card info, they said they tried to run it 6 times! Checked with my financial institution which shows ALL activity declined or otherwise. They didn't run it!
Two weeks before Christmas you want a 350.00 deposit! Thanks CA House! You have poor Customer Service and poor management. Thank you for causing more grief and upset to one mom and her child. You made an already crappy Christmas, even crappier. Sincerely, Devastated Mom

I have buying from this store since around 1967 at three different locations. The new store is as nice as any of the large chain stores. The difference is the staff is very informed on the latest music equipment. I buy from them, because it is local, they have great staff, prices almost always will be competitive, and maybe the most important: is that when there is a problem, they will help you take care of it. That does not happen on line all the time. I would tell you to shop here for your music needs.
