Melinda T. Arndt is a Board Certified Music Therapist and graduate of Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA. with a B.S. in Music Education. She has worked with special needs customers for over 25 years, including those with Autism, Rett Syndrome, cognitive disabilities, Alzheimers/ dementia, psychiatric diagnoses, terminal illness, comatose state, developmentally disabled, stroke/rehab. needs, and others.Individual music therapy sessions are held weekly in a variety of settings. 3rd party billing is not available, but rates are very affordable.
Alongside her music therapy practice, Mindy maintains a private teaching studio, has directed children's choirs and handbell choirs, has accompanied church and school choirs and played for weddings, funerals and special events.
Services
Located off North Main Street just outside of Mooresville, NC, the Music With Mindy Learning Studio is in a restful backyard setting. Family members can sit outdoors, stay and observe from the waiting area, or run a quick errand.
