Private vocal lessons: Emily provides lessons for middle and high school students, as well as for adults. Lessons involve vocal pedagogy and technique, a variety of song styles, basic music theory, and performance coaching. Vocal coaching for specific events (i.e. wedding soloist, auditions, etc.) is also available. We will work together to find the best techniques and styles for your individual voice.

Older Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Piano Lessons: If you are looking to begin piano study, or would like to change piano instructors, have had previous piano instructions, and would like a new, dynamic teacher, Emily provides lessons for older beginners, intermediate and advanced piano students. We will work on technique, music theory, history, musicianship, and reperetoire enhancement.

Piano Accompaniment: With twenty-nine years of piano study and experience, Emily has an extensive background in and passion for accompanying, including working with vocalists, instrumentalists, and choirs. Her services are available for long-term--rehearsing with soloists and choirs on a regular basis - as well as short-term, including auditions, events, and contests.

Church Music Consulting: Are you looking to assess, develop or re-vitalize the worship experience in your church congregation? With Emily's background in leading and planning worship in several mainline denominations, as well her theological education, she will help a worship team or committee through assessing the current worship format, addressing the proposed issues or changes, and coaching and spiritually supporting the leadership and congregation while changes are being implemented. Worship and worship music are very sensitive areas in the life of a church, and Emily's understanding, honest and diplomatic style can aid in addressing the cycles and concerns within the congregation.

Special Occasions/Events: Emily is available to play for weddings, funerals, and other special occasions, such as holiday parties, receptions and professional gatherings.

Musical Theatre and Musical Theatre Direction: Emily has worked as an actor, a musician and a director in various community theatres, high school theatre departments, and professional theatre companies. She provides musical direction for theatre productions, pit musicianship and conducting, as well as coaching and directions for high school productions.
