Sonder Music Piano Studio

In 75-minute group piano lessons, students spend a large portion of each lesson working in small groups:
singing, chanting, and moving to develop their musical ability
learning solos as a group
playing duets and trios
improvising and composing together
working on focused group projects

Students may enroll in weekly 45 minute or 1 hour private piano lessons. Students in grades K-8 choose a track of study (high school and adults students do not) :
The Focused Track is designed to help students progress most quickly towards becoming competent and well-rounded musicians. A consistent, daily practice routine must be maintained to remain in this track. Practice “plans for success” will be regularly discussed with parents and students. The type and degree of parental involvement at home will depend on the student's age and temperament, however, parents should recognize that they will play an important role in their child's success.
The Recreational Track is designed to be more flexible and less structured; students may move at a slower pace. There are no specific practice time requirements. Home practice will still be encouraged, however, if assignments have not received adequate attention during the week, time will be provided during the lesson to complete assignments.
