The Harmony House is an advocate of the arts, providing enrichment to ALL students (private, public, and homeschool) ~ ages preschool through adult. We provide enriching activities including: private and group music lessons, art lessons, summer camps, HEArts homeschool programs, theatre, concerts and student recitals. Our on-site "Music & More!" Store provides quality instruments for sale/rent, as well as music, gifts and supplies.
Our professional music instructors are seasoned musicians with current and past experience as performers, wedding/event musicians, church music directors, private or public school music educators, etc.
Offering instruction in a variety of styles with positive lyrics, including: classical, jazz, popular, rock & roll, blues, bluegrass, country, folk, R&B, ragtime, gospel, sacred, and contemporary Christian. Our experienced piano and guitar instructors can teach you how to play either in the classical method (note reading) and/or by chords.
The Harmony House is conveniently located across from the Kennesaw Public Library, in historic downtown Kennesaw.

Our name is "The Harmony House" because we emphasize Christian unity. Although we may have differences of opinion when it comes to the non-essentials of the faith, we can be united in purpose, which is living for Christ in all that we do - giving our lives to Him for His honor, glory and blessing. Through the vehicle of the arts, our fellowship offers seminars - locally and abroad - and intercessory pastoral prayer ministry. Finding deliverance and experiencing renewal through praying scripture, looking at truth, and breaking off lies. Our pastoral counselors are lay counselors who base their counsel on God's Word, for He is the Wonderful Counselor (Isaiah 9:6).

Rented a trumpet for my son's first band experience. The rental process was smooth enough, although the employee that tried to explain the cost of the instrument vs the finance charge didn't really understand the difference. Just be prepared to spend additional money, because you're likely not done. A week later, once my son tried to play for the first time, we found out that the mouthpiece they supplied was the wrong size for him.
When I went back to try to correct this, they stood on policy that they couldn't provide the correct sized mouthpiece, I was stuck with the one that came with the trumpet. I was given the option to purchase one, priced anywhere from $25 to over $70. Ideally, they would have proactively mentioned this issue when we originally rented the instrument.
Possibly even worked with my son to see if he was getting the proper equipment. If we'd been aware of the potential need for the change, we could have addressed it then. We wound up purchasing it somewhere else for significantly less.

Good variety of music teachers and friendly staff. Our son has taken trumpet lessons here for two years with different teachers, and made good progress. Downside is that lesson facilities are Spartan and somewhat make-shift. One is just a 5-foot office partition set up in the lobby. Others with very thin walls means lots of distracting sound bleed-through.

My 5 year-old loves taking piano lessons from the Harmony House. It's a safe, Christian environment with lots of music areas to explore. My daughter has been going here for a little over a year and her teacher (Ms. Seeger) is absolutely amazing! Everyone I've encountered has been helpful, nice, and knowledgeable. The recitals are always well organized and all the kids play beautifully.
It's worth every dime and I'm confident that my little Mozart is honing a craft that will take her very far in life. I have recommended this place to several of my friends and will continue to do so.

My son decided that it would be a good idea to get some actual lessons from a piano teacher as opposed to all of the Youtube tutorials. We immediately thought of Harmony House. His teacher is Carolyn Sylvius and she is awesome! My son is learning and likes the learning. She is encouraging and supportive with him. He comes home and practices and then can't wait for next lesson to 'show off' that he is improving.
He is happy and we are happy with her as a teacher and Harmony House overall. I highly recommend if your child wishes to learn piano to contact Harmony House and see Carolyn.

The teachers are friendly and knowledgeable. My kids LOVE their teaches and the Hearts program. We've been attending for 2 years now and are into our third and plan to come back next year also. The kids advance at their own pace and the teachers seem to know just how to get them to learn on their own level rather than trying to teach them the way the teacher would prefer. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

My son has been taking lessons with Ms. Carolyn for approximately 3 years and we have been thrilled with the experience. He had been playing for around 4 or 5 years when he started taking private lessons and has grown and learned so much more in 3 short years. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and has a genuine interest in their student's learning experience and accomplishments. I highly recommend them!

There is no other experience like this store. The first time I went to the Harmony House was two years ago for my oldest son. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I showed them exactly what I needed, they provided everything for me. I came back for my second child recently and it was the exact same experience. The customer service was amazing!
