My teaching method is simple: I make it fun and effective for all. Each Student is uniquely different and my job is to use the best teaching method for each, individual student. Teaching is a gift that keeps giving.
Most of my students continue to pursue their musical gifts; some perform @ family gatherings, others have graduated from high school, and are achieving a Music Degree. Many are in local bands and perform regularly. When I watch them perform, it brings tears of joy to my eyes ;'' )
I offer lesson packages and group rates, as well.
I teach all ages-and levels/ everyone is teach-able! ;)

Rick is easily the kindest person we have ever met, and in addition, has been one of the best drum coaches/teachers I have ever known (I play myself). We hired Rick to teach our 7yr old, and found him to be so patient, adept, and encouraging he literally became "one of the family". He is a very skilled, educated, creative and well seasoned drummer, and his teaching approach and personality allows for his experiences to be easily and effectively passed over to his students. Rick's lesson plan started with the fundamentals, again, easily and effectively conveyed, to more complex and aggressive patterns, without ever taking the "fun" of playing the drums. My son truly looks forward to his lessons with Rick and we could not endorse an educator such as Rich any stronger. He is a true professional.
