Services
Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy has been providing music lessons, youth theater, and early childhood music classes to the Fishers and surrounding area since 2004. Our founder, Ji-Eun Lee, immigrated for Seoul, South Korea in the early 1990's. She studied piano performance at Indiana University. After graudating with her Masters of Music she remained in the area as a Church pianist and private teacher. In 2004 she opened the academy after her private teaching had grown too large for her to teach all her students.
The owners of Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy have lived in Fishers for over 20 years and as a result they care about our community. They believe music is a vital part of a happy, healthy life. Ji-Eun Lee has been teaching in the Greater Indianapolis area since the mid-1990's. Thanks to the support of our community, today our 7000 square foot facility includes private lesson rooms, a 150+ seat theater, and a cafe/concession stand. Our teachers love to teach music lessons. They are great with young, beginners, but skilled enough to teach advanced and adults.
We teach students aged 5 years old to adult. Beginner to advanced (college level). Piano lessons typically meet weekly for 30 minute lessons on the same day and time. Longer lessons (45 minute or 60 minute) are available for more advanced students - please inquire if you think a longer lesson is necessary.
Ji-Eun (pronounced June) has a Master of Music in piano performance from the prestigious Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, but her true love is teaching. She has been teaching piano for over 30 years. Her teaching style is caring, but firm and she is an expert at identifying what a student needs and inspiring the student to reach the next level.

Doug. Maybe you need to get your facts straight before you try to discuss this. I never agreed that we would sit there. I can happily send you the text messages. Also- I literally did sit in the parking lot because inclusion is not the parent sitting there. I get it, you don't do inclusion. You want money plain and simple. Just own up to that.

Please do not enroll here. I enrolled my daughter who has special needs after extensive assurances that she would be included. I paid the money gladly to have this for her to be part of. She was placed as an extra only (we paid the same as everyone ) then she went to one rehearsal and was not allowed on stage where all of the other kids were rehearsing.

She just sat and watched. She never wanted to go back. I kindly asked for a refund and was told no, and that social interactions isn't the owners responsibility. I am so tired of having people show such a lack of empathy or caring towards our teens and god forbid anyone have a disability. Please DO NOT support this business.

Ji-Eun Lee and her wonderful staff Michelle Shea and Mariel are absolutely amazing. I happen to drive by the studio last fall and gave them a call and they had a production coming up the 1st of the year. Getting my daughter involved with this studios was the best thing that could have happened to her. Not built her self esteem so much. They are professional and kind!

As my daughter said the other day when I ask her why she wouldn't try another studio in their downtime she said because Ji-Eun Lee cares about ALL the kids not just the lead performers!! That's very important to kids of all ages to believe no matter what the part they count. BTW, my daughter happen to have the lead in the play she was in with them and still recognized this quality and how important it is! I would recommend this studio to anyone and everyone who might be interested in giving performing at try! You won't be disappointed!!

JLMA is a great place to conduct Indian music program. The hall and the ambience is great. Program director is easy to work with. They setup and take down and allow serving food. We conduct a lot of programs and it works out wonderful. Highly recommended.
