My 14 year old son has been taking lessons from Susan Hentz for only 8 months, and he has learned so much. Most of all, he enjoys his sessions as she makes learning fun. She is patient and encouraging. She also shares her broad experience in music, instruments, band prep, etc. with him, giving him advice and tips and feedback and what to expect. Her love of music is evident and she has passed on her passion for teaching and music to my son...and me, his mother!

He looks forward to his lessons with her each week, as she is fun and always so positive in her teaching and working with him. We highly recommend her as a teacher, mentor, and friend, her love for music and teaching is contagious!

My daughter started with Susan as a brand new alto saxophone player just a month ago. She already knows 6 scales and can play numerous pop tunes and etudes. Most importantly, she has fallen in love with the instrument. I have to hold her practices to 30 minutes so she doesn't overdue it. Susan has a wonderful way with kids and knows just how much to challenge them. As a result, learning is fun, progress is steady, and drudgery is minimized. I highly recommend Susan and G-Clef Notes.

I've been going to Mrs. Hentz for around eight months and only go once a week. She has already taught me all Major scales for Alto Saxophone and two Minor ones. She always helps me with school music, and with her help I've reached First Chair status. She always adjusts my homework to my schedule and she is extremely easy to get along with. Her lessons help keep my skills in check and I'm always learning new things. Mrs. Hentz (or Mrs.Susan as I call her) is absolutely the best music teacher EVER!
