Julianne Ensley

Music Teacher

Holding degrees from both Mercer University and Clayton State University, Julianne Ensley began learning flute at age 10. Her adult flute study began with Catherine Bull, principal flutist of the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra, then for the past seven years with Christina Smith, principal flutist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

She has studied in workshops with John Barcelona, Patricia George, Keith Underwood and Tadeu Coelho. Her professional association affiliations include the South Carolina Flute Society and the Greenville Music Teachers Association. Mrs. Ensley formerly taught at Gordon State College in GA; she currently directs a flute choir and performs as a freelance musician.
