Lessons are conducted in the convenience and safety of your home or studio or on-line by an experienced teacher who follows the Russian system of methodics and has passed a rigorous screening process (including an extensive background check, a performance audition, a formal interview, and reference checks) . Lessons occur usually once per week for thirty, forty-five, or sixty minutes, depending on the age, ability, and attention span of the student, as well as family preference.
Schedules are flexible to suit vacation needs, etc., with make-up sessions arranged as needed.
Lessons are available to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced, and will be individualized to each student’s needs and stage of music development.
Recital opportunities are available for students, such as participation in Federation of Music Festivals, advanced student recitals, annual recitals, and other competitions.
Nadia School of Music LLC offers private piano lessons in the teacher's studio or on-line, via Skype or other programs, to students of all levels and ages. Nadia School of Music LLC is located in Williamsburg, VA. Students, young and older, beginner or advanced, have the ability to discover and "unlock" a love - and enthusiasm - for making music.
She is an amazingly accomplished pianist who is well versed in teaching methods and who does an impressive job of identifying piano techniques that need to be addressed and then pushing her students to master them. Nadia's personality includes a nice blend of respect, humor, and, at the same time, rigidity that helps to encourage her students to new skill levels.

Nadia Ilardi
Nadia Ilardi, president of Nadia School of Music, was born and raised in Russia and became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 2006. She comes from a family of musicians and began playing the piano at the age of 5. She attended eight years of music school before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree as a Music Teacher (a specific degree in Russia) from the Stavropol Music College, where she was trained in the Russian system of piano education. She began teaching in a Russian music school in 1998, and in 2001 emigrated to the United States. She started the Nadia School of Music in 2003.

My teens have been very fortunate to have the opportunity to take guitar lessons with Todd Holcomb through Nadia School of Music. They started as complete beginners and are now playing the songs they love to listen to as well as reading music! They love their lessons and have enjoyed the recitals, Nadia has offered as well. They have had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Nadia's school as well as their awesome instructor, Todd!

Mrs. Nadia has been instructing my eldest daughter for 8 years and my youngest daughter for 3. She is an instructor who teaches more than how to play but how to think about what you are playing and then how to play with the emotion that makes all the difference. A teacher with more patience and teaching ability you will not find and she has the ability (both technical and practical) to take you or your child as far as you want to go and beyond where you thought you could.

Both of my sons have been taking piano lessons at Nadia School of Music since they were 5 years old. Ms. Natalia gives superb instruction. My oldest has been playing for 4.5 years now and we enjoy listening to the beautiful pieces at home. Nadia organizes several recitals a year at the Ewell Hall on William & Mary campus. It's a great way to hear other students perform and it builds confidence in kids.

I wanted to add that during COVID-19 that Nadia's has been able to offer virtual piano lessons via FaceTime. While not the same as in-person, but kids do enjoy them and able to have a fruitful piano lesson during this time of self-quarantine. Excellent piano lessons. My young son gets frustrated when things don't come easy to him and his teacher through Nadia's School has helped him work through this.
He's progressing nicely and looks forward to practicing. My own mom, who is a pianist herself, also approves of the teaching method through Nadia's. Just as a side note, sometimes the contact form is down on her website - best to call her directly via phone number.

I took lessons from Nadia for a couple years in high school. It’s been many years and I don’t play much piano anymore, but I still remember the discipline and structure she taught me. It has stuck with me as an adult. She is a very skilled and technical piano player and teacher, I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Nadia Ilardi has been instructing my children and me with piano lessons for this past year, and 1 would personally like to recommend her to anyone considering piano lessons. My children are ages 8, 10, and 13. The older two have had another piano teacher in the past, and I have had several different instructors during my youth. When we discovered Nadia (also through a personal referral), I decided to take up the piano again after many years of neglect.
The fact that Nadia is willing to come to our home makes it even easier to arrange. Rather than all of us having to wait through the other's lessons, we are able to enjoy our own home environment while waiting our turns.
