Music with Marta provides an enjoyable and fullfilling musical education for all ages. Owner Marta Hansen offers private piano and voice lessons for ages 5-adult from her home studio as well as Kindermusik classes for young children ages 0-7. Marta has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a certified teacher in Wisconsin and Texas, is a licensed Kindermusik educator, and is CPR and First Aid Certified. Marta taught for 6 years in Plano and Frisco, Texas teaching both middle school choir and elementary general music.

Marta has a great knack for connecting music with children and adults. As a former vocal and music teacher, she brings tremendous knowledge and skill to her private practice. Her piano and vocal students excel in developing their talents. As a certified Kindermusik instructor, she knows how to work with groups of young children to help them learn, while they have fun. I would highly recommend Marta for individual lessons in voice and piano, group lessons for children, and as a coach for music performances.

Marta Hansen was my daughter's music teacher at her elementary school. She was always excited to go to music class with Mrs. Hansen. Mrs. Hansen always had fantastic productions which highlighted all of the children's talents for their level. When Mrs. Hansen left Gunstream to be at home with her son and teach piano and voice lessons, we were sad to see her go but, we heard nothing but good recommendations from our friends.
When my daughter, Reagan decided she was ready to begin piano lessons I knew just where to go. It took a little time to find a spot in her schedule that worked for our schedule, but Mrs. Hansen was always great with flexibility when things came up in our schedule or hers.
Reagan loved her lessons with Mrs. Hansen and she learned very quickly. I was impressed with how much Mrs. Hansen appears to love her work and the children she teaches.
We were very sorry to lose her as our piano teacher, but wish her all of the best in her new endeavors. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Mrs. Hansen to anyone who wants their child to learn how to play piano or take voice lessons.
