A Fish in Jerusalem Waters
I just wanted to say music lessons with Bradley Fish are awesome! He has an eye for pinpointing where your weaknesses lie (and I certainly have a few) and is supportive in correcting them. Moreover, he's willing to tread untread waters which is how I started playing slide blues on the 4 equidistant string banjomer. My only regret is too little, to late as we had only just begun before I had to take my leave. He is also very strong with guitar and even banjo lessons, so if you're thinking of taking the plunge, I can only say that his prices are compatible with those I've encountered in the states. But most of all, I can say it is just plain fun. That's what music's about as far as I'm concerned. And he has a serious recording studio in case you get cocky.

Bradley is AMAZING. When I picture music lessons, I think of my piano lessons growing up - 1/2 hour with a teacher while we follow a book. This is NOT how Bradley's lessons are. They are spontaneous and fun - Bradley accompanied my son on drums and guitar, pushing him out of his comfort zone while being encouraging and helpful. My son also had the opportunity to do jam sessions with other teens his age - he loved them. I can't recommend Bradley enough!

I had a great experience taking all four of my kids to Bradley for music lessons--at the same time. He had a wonderful knack of keeping them all engage, learning something and enjoying their session. I was shocked how much they enjoyed it. I really appreciated his flexibility and willingness to work with our schedule. He offered input in advice on the instruments we selected and purchased and I was grateful about that and pleased with his suggestions. There may be a better music teacher out there but I doubt it.

Took guitar lessons from Brad years ago in Madison, and then online recently. Really helped with theory recently. He also talked me through (and in one case, out of) my music biz ideas , which was way helpful and probably saved me more than all the lessons cost put together. He's the real deal. Great player, personable, fun, a true teacher.

Bradley Fish is a gifted multi-instrumentalist and highly effective teacher. I had the pleasure of taking guitar lessons for over two years, often with my 7-year-old or 10-year-old, and Bradley was able to instantly determine where we were in terms of musical ability, what we needed to work on, and how to get there successfully. Going to lessons was always the highlight of the week in our house. Bradley is everything one would hope for with a teacher - caring, kind, able to communicate and demonstrate concepts clearly, pushes the right amount, and a great sense of humor!

My two daughters take guitar lessons w/Bradley Fish; I'm appreciative of his diverse and open teaching style. Your goals, in regards to what you may hope to accomplish musically, will always be taken into account. If you want to focus on technique and music theory, he will assemble the appropriate repertoire. If you are looking to experiment with different instruments and get a taste of studio work, he will accommodate. There is always open communication and any lesson can be "tuned" to fit your mood for the day. This is a fun and relaxed atmosphere with a quality and skilled individual!

My son said, "If you had signed me up for lessons with Bradley from the very beginning, I would have learned more from him in months than the years it took me. and it would have been more fun." Bradley is warm, kind, encouraging, responsive and his love of music and having fun with it is 100% contagious. Madison is lucky, lucky to count Bradley among those making Madison amazing. Thank you, Bradley.

There is a lot to say about Bradley Fish. He has skyrocketed me as a bassist and musician as well, challenging me and working with me in a professional yet hospitable way. He feels like a friend as well as a mentor, nothing feels formulaic or by the books(so no boring christmas tunes). He teaches you in a way that works with your talent. Lying down everything in the process, like theory, technique, even tips on working as a musician in the professional world. I cannot recommend Bradley enough, hell I drive an hour and a half to go to lessons. Definitely the place to go to if you want a teacher that works with and for you!

My son took guitar lessons with Bradley starting when he was 8 years old until he was 15. Bradley definitely fostered a love for music and made lessons fun. He's an excellent musician and has a great, easygoing personality. My son is now asking for lessons again with Bradley, as he misses it and enjoyed it so much.

I love the studio so much! It's a special place full of creative vibes with awesome color and an abundance of beautiful instruments from all over the world. The studio has a real soul to it you can feel when you are there. Bradley's an amazing musician and business coach. He recently coached me through the steps of opening my new piano studio. His expertise saved me a lot of time up front and he gave me a lot to think about for future growth. Highly recommend!

Bradley Fish may be the best guitar/music teacher around! I traveled from Texas to Wisconsin and a big reason I wanted to was for these lessons. You can't beat the price for all of the resources he offers, I was able to record professional sounding originals, play and improvise in groups, and I even made a friend and joined a band. I struggled so long with many things and he made theory and learning so easy and so fun. Anything musically you want to pursue, this is one of the best teachers out there.

Bradley was my gateway into a lifetime passion for guitar and music. I came to him with barely any knowledge and the goal of learning how to play my favorite songs from my favorite guitar idols. Not only was Bradley able to learn anything I brought to him on the spot, he was able to break it down and explain it to me musically. His methodologies in our lessons laid down the framework for a student who just didn't want to replicate others but was able to understand why they played what they did and why it was great.
This was vital in allowing me to go on and aspire to become my own great creator of music. He taught me to love the language of music and that is the best thing anyone can give to an aspiring player. Thank you Bradley!

If you want to learn guitar Bradley is the guy to go to. I had been playing guitar for 5 1/2 before I moved to Wisconsin and started with Bradley, and in a year and a half he's taught me so much more than I thought I could still learn. If you want excellent lessons and the occasional jam, this is the guy for you!

Totally Recommended. I took lessons with Bradley for nearly 5 years in Jerusalem. He took me from novice to pretty advanced. It was fun and we recorded, played bass, drums and did musical things I would have never imagined me being able to do. Sorry to see him leave here but happy to leave the recommendation for people in Wisconsin.
