I didn't grow up playing the piano. Through a series of events, I came to believe I wasn't musical. I frequently would say, "I don't have a musical bone in my body." Do you know someone like that? Despite this belief, I encountered the Simply Music program. I was so moved by the impact this program had on me (not only opening the door to playing the piano but in other areas of my life as well), I quit my eleven-year career in teaching High School mathematics and opened my studio. I love helping people take a journey they thought was never possible. My studio has many different kinds of students, including a 90-year-old man and 6-year-old blind student. Just great stuff.

I took years of piano lessons and wound up only learning to play scales and the simplest children's songs. After nearly two years at Musical Bones, I'm playing a wide variety of songs and am enjoying piano after many years. Stan Munson is a very patient teacher who brings knowledge and enthusiasm to every lesson.

The "Musical Bones" technique helps encourage children not to be afraid to be creative when playing the keyboard. The technique that Stan Munson uses is an asset to beginners at the keyboard. My daughter loved taking weekly lessons with her group of peers and was never afraid to express her thoughts or creative endeavors.
