We can unlock your child's innate musical ability using a unique program that makes practice easy. Know the signs and signals they're ready for lessons, and the secret to making amazing progress, sticking with it, and becoming great at playing music! I've always wanted to learn piano and when I saw that The Music Studio offers a class for adults, I jumped at the opportunity!
Music Lessons last a lifetime! Our mission is to foster our students' love of music by developing the reading, technique, and performance skills necessary for them to become independent, fluent musicians. We strive to make our lessons the activity your child enjoys most and looks forward to all week, and that your home is filled with beautiful music.
We focus on building confidence and independence, superior reading and practice skills, and making sure our students LOVE what they're accomplishing. But, there's even more to our formula! Our Accelerated Lesson Program (specifically for Piano, Harp, Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, & Percussions), focuses on building a solid foundation: independence, confidence, sight-reading, technique, and practice skills in a fun, social environment.

Student playing Beethoven Sonata #14, 3rd movement
One of our "Accelerated" students, Emma enjoys playing the works of many major composers, such as Beethoven, Bach, and Chopin. She routinely sightreads and memorizes lengthier, difficult classical pieces like the one she's demonstrating here!
Emma, with more Beethoven!
Emma, working on yet another Beethoven Sonata movement!

Great place to learn an instrument. I'm an adult learning the violin so it can be challenging and scary being in lessons with others, but the teachers make me feel very comfortable, welcomed, and are patient with my progress. Susan and the teachers, are great at communicating concerns and advice with the instruments in a way that I can understand. Great Place!
