Brunner Studios

Heather Brunner holds a Bachelors of Music and Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Heather has studied with teachers such as Judith Fairchild, Dr. Heidi Louise Williams and Donald Beattie. Her time with these instructors, as well as twenty years of teaching experience, has enabled her to teach students of all ages and levels.

After 8.5 years in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, Brunner Studios has moved to Ennis, MT. The studio managed to grow in a big way while we were on hiatus. We went from one Baldwin grand piano to two Baldwin grand pianos. Technology has changed a lot in the past 5 years. Now seemed like a good time to add virtual and hybrid style lessons to our traditional in person format. We look forward to serving Ennis and the wider area for your piano and vocal needs.

Each week students are assigned a composer to research. Musical examples are provided by Brunner Studios. Students then bring a list of facts or a few short paragraphs about the composer to their next lesson. Understanding the background of the musical literature they are preparing is important. Music lessons should encompass more than just notes on a page and practice at the instrument.

Student performances will be listed by piece title only. No student names will be given at this time. If you are looking for a specific musician, ask the student what pieces they have recorded this year.

Do we need to say more? With life the way it is right now and being based in a rural community, Brunner Studios has decided that now is the time to add virtual lessons and tutorials to our academic offerings. This option is going to look a little different for every student based on their age, skill, and technological availability.
