Bryant Belin is the owner and director of VP Music Studios and teaches voice, kindermusik, audition preparation, performance etiquette, music fundamentals & music history. Belin has more than 10 years teaching and performing experience which he diligently applies to all his students. He trusts in the education of the 'entire individual' and it shows in his lessons.
He graduated from Coker College with a B.A in Vocal Performance. There he participated in lots of scenes, various programs and engagements, and was the Coker College Department of Theatre, Dance and Music's outstanding student (2007 - 2008) also Who's Who Among America's Colleges and Universities - 2007. He has taken part in the Graduate Certificate Program at University of South Carolina - Columbia, where he made his operatic debut in Mozart's The Magic Flute and later in Offenbach's - The Tales of Hoffman. Bryant has taught voice, music theory, and music fundamentals in general not only in the Western North Carolina area but also in various places throughout South Carolina for over a decade.
In the summer of 2007 Belin was invited to study and perform in the beautiful country of Spain via the International Course of Spanish Music through the University of South Carolina. There he studied with world renowned musicians: pianist - Julio Alexis Munoz; Opera Singer Mabel Perelstein - Mezzo-Soprano & Spanish Guitarrist - Avelina vidal Seara. Belin has also been invited to participate in the Rome Festival of summer 2011.
Together with currently pursuing his Master of Music degree in Performance from Converse College, he has also participated in studies from Boston University's MM Music Education program. He also operates as a Bass-Baritone Concert Soloist, Sunday Soloist and choral section leader in the Western North Carolina area for various churches and organizations. He has performed Handel's Messiah and Schubert's Mass in G with the 1st United Methodist Church Chancel Choir in Brevard, NC and other organizations throughout the carolinas. He also held the position of Bass/Baritone soloist for the Blue Ridge Sacred Chorale's inaugural performance of Faure's Requiem also in Brevard, NC.
