This review is very much overdue. Lessons That Rock helped me reach something I never thought I could.play guitar. Micah is more than just a guy who knows how to play and teaches you what he knows. He is a musician in the truest form and has the aptitude to teach. Which for me was such a help because I learned good musical habits and disciplines from the start.
I appreciate that he doesn't play around and takes his time with each student SERIOUSLY, so you WILL get your monies worth. So if you want to really learn how to play and understand music, Lessons That Rock is the spot!

Micah has been my teacher for about one year. I find him very organized, patient, and helpful. He explains things clearly and will say things in different ways if I don't get it at first. I am a 30-year old woman who has always loved classic rock and the sound of acoustic guitar. My New Year's resolution this year was to learn to play the acoustic guitar. I found "Lessons that Rock" online, and started private lessons by mid-January. After only two months of lessons I was able to read guitar tabs, play a few chords, and play two classic rock songs!
After four months, I was able to play five songs! Now, I am able to play several of my all-time favorite songs and am having fun playing the guitar, even though my audience is still just my husband and my dog.
