Our company offers piano lessons and voice lessons in Weatherford, Texas at studio or in student's home. We use the Faber & Faber Piano Adventures series as its primary piano study method. Voice lessons focus on technique using music styles of interest to the student. Leah Flippin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and recently completed her Master's in Library Science. She desires for all students to enjoy and express music according to individual ability.

Leah Flippin has owned and operated a music studio in Weatherford, Texas for the past 10 years. She has performed in public since the age of 3, both in the U.S. and Europe. As a graduate of Tarleton State University, she continues her passion for music by instructing children and adults in piano and voice. Ms. Leah focuses on the individual ability rather than the perceived idea of success, believing everyone can enjoy and prosper from exposure to music. Her personal knowledge of encouraging children through the use of positive reinforcement was further developed when she received a diagnosis of autism for her son.
Applied Behavior Analysis has been beneficial to him, and Ms. Leah has applied similar methods in her teaching that have been effective in encouraging and motivating children. She has a strong interest in libraries, as evidenced by her recent acquisition of her Master's degree in Library Science from the University of North Texas.
She has an online blog that reviews popular youth literature at Leah's Literature Reviews. During the day, she homeschools her three children using the Charlotte Mason education method. A complimentary format to support this approach is lapbooking.
Leah Flippin is a member of Weatherford Music Teachers Association, which organizes community music activities such as festivals and competitions for area students. Ms. Leah was also an in home instructor for PianoWorks Music Studio for two years and is knowledgeable on how to provide this new service for customers that will begin in the Fall Semester of 2012.
