Mariah Picot Trio Mariah performs with her trio on piano/keyboards and vocals. Along with a rhythm section of upright bass and drums they do classic standards, blues, latin, some funk and r&b, oldies and originals. The sets have an international flavor as she sings in French, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish.

An American entomologist, a gallery owner from LA, a Brazilian businessman all have their own agendas, until their lives are totally turned around by the discovery that their two teens got lost at Carnival. Set in Rio, surrounding areas and the Brazilian Rain Forest to the hypnotic strains of Bosa Nova, Samba, and Candomble.

I use crystal singing bowls, toning and my intuitive give to sing what you need to hear, to bring balance and clarity. I can teach you to tone so you can do this for yourself. If I have a copy of the origian octavo, I can make rehearsal tracks for your choir with Finale.

Mariah Picot has spent her life as an arts professional. She started in musical theater as an actor/singer and eventually moved into working in piano bars. She has performed in festivals, concerts, churches, corporates events, and clubs across north America. He skills include songwriting, vocal arranging and music directing She teaches voice and piano.

Mariah was a guest soloist with the London [ON] Symphony, and was commisioned to sing for the Canadian Command Performance at Massey Hall, along with other guests including Jim Carey, Rich Little & Buffy St. Marie. She was the only performer that evening to have 2 paragraphs written about her by the reviewer in the Toronto Star: A dynamic singer-Ray Conalogue.

During the mid Eighties, she changed her focus to performing in piano bars, which includes Tom Jones Steak House, right in the middle of the theater district, for approximately 3 years. She has also performed music for numerous private and corporate events in Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, and Los Angeles
