We offer private piano, guitar, ukulele, drums, violin, cello, voice, flute and saxophone lessons. We have group classes for ages1 1/2- 2 1/2 called Jungle Music, 2 -3 called Music is Fun, 5-7 called Junior Keys and 8-12 called Piano Keys. Our group classes use an award winning curriculum.

Quality Music Instruction In a Fun and Affordable Program. In MusIQ Club, students learn the language of music and develop real performance skills, progressing from level to level every week. The program is designed to meet and exceed national standards at every grade level. Students work with experienced and qualified music instructors. Through the software, students are exposed to music theory in a fun and self-paced way. In class, teachers build on that learning with a variety of group activities. We use Boomwhackers, Hand Bells, our own Grand Staff Twister, color coded song books, percussion instruments, sing-a-longs, and STOMP-esque body percussion to keep the classes exciting for every age and demographic we teach.

Director
Sherry is the founder of S Music Studio and Director of Delaware MusIQ Club. She has a degree in Music Education from West Chester University with a major in voice and a minor in piano. She has taught private voice and piano lessons for over 30 years to students of all ages.
Sherry homeschooled both her daughters for 12 years and directed the Tri-State Homeschool Choir and Madrigal Singers for 7 years, winning awards at the Association of Christian Schools International, as well as the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.
With experience in church music, accompanying at the college level, choir directing, and musical productions, she has years of musical experiences to draw from. S Music Studio offers traditional training coupled with cutting edge technology, in an atmosphere that fosters learning. Sherry would like to invite you to come join our musical family.

I love the friendly atmosphere at the S Music School. The instructors are so welcoming. The parents and students are also extremely friendly. It’s like eating a KIND bar when you enter the school- {very refreshing}. I have 3 children attending the school and a total of 4 lessons a week (drums, piano, guitar & voice). My children LOVE going every week & the music they are taught inspires them to practice. I can’t say enough great things about this school.

We love the warm and friendly atmosphere here at S Music Studio! The teachers are great and really make learning fun and exciting for students of all ages and abilities. We are so proud of the progress our son has made over the past 6+ years and look forward to his continued success. Awesome music school! Our son has been taking piano lessons at S Music studio for about 2 years now. At 4 yrs old, we thought he would be too young to learn. However, the teaching style at S music studio gave him the basic fundamentals needed to start learning to read and play sheet music. By learning to count bars/measures, beats, rhythm, cadences etc. he has improved in other subjects such as math and reading as well.
The teachers are very patient with the students to ensure that they have a firm grasp of the weekly lessons. Students get a chance to showcase their talent and build confidence performing in front of an audience in the fall and spring recitals. There are many instruments taught at this school including drums, guitar, ukelele, violin and voice ( just to name the few that we’ve seen) We absolutely love this school! Our second son just started taking lessons as well. We absolutely recommend S music studio to anyone looking to learn and/or hone their music skills.
