♫ Private piano instruction for adults, teens, and children. All abilities welcome, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. ♫ Piano lessons are held at my home in Layton, or at the university in Logan, Utah.
♫ Time Investment/ Beginning students receive 30 minute lessons, and more advanced students receive 45 or 60 minute lessons. Lessons are held once per week, and each student is expected to practice a minimum of five days per week. I have been teaching piano for about five years. I also have three years of clinical music therapy experience. I feel my experience as a music therapist greatly expands my teaching abilities. I love teaching both adults and children. I also teach at Utah State University as a piano instructor for adult college students and children. Here, I am the keyboard harmony coordinator, where I teach and supervise 4-6 student instructors, develop the curriculum for the keyboard harmony program, and create lesson plans. Keyboard Harmony is an adult piano course for music majors who do not play piano as their primary instrument. I also supervise music therapy students at different practicum sites located throughout Cache Valley.
