PERMANENTLY CLOSED Lessons are typically 30 or 45 minutes long and include theory, written assignments, and an opportunity to learn a wide variety of music styles in a home studio. My philosophy is that of making the piano lesson relational and fun, even while keeping high standards for learning to play piano and perform with poise in front of family, friends, and a larger audience.

Before I began to take piano lessons I would compose my own musical pieces that were nice but didn't have any structure. One evening my grandfather heard me playing the piano. As a result he decided to invest in me and bought me a new keyboard and found a teacher as well (Mrs. McCallum)! The piano to me has been a great stress reliever. It's a great thing, to be able to take the emotions that I'm feeling and let them flow though my fingertips to produce something that is calming and gets my mind off my worries.
Mrs. McCallum has been a wonderful teacher. She's been very patient and supportive. I have taken lessons from her for four years since I was 16.
