Welcome to Castellano Studio

A free 30 minute consultation is required so I can meet parent and student. You can message me on Facebook or call me to set up day and time for this consult.

I offer guitar lessons in my home studio in Beulaville, NC. I instruct students of all ages on acoustic, electric and bass guitar.

Fingerstyle, flat picking and Spanish strumming styles are taught along with reading sheet music, tab, Nashville numbering system and playing by ear. Classic rock, folk, pop, country whatever your musical style, I can help you find your musical voice.

Mobilesheet and Guitar Pro are used to help with student's rhythm, melody and lead guitar.

I offer Jam sessions several times a year to help students learn to play with other players, and semiannual recitals in a casual and more formal setting to get students more comfortable playing for an audience.

All ages 7 to 92 are welcome! A consultation is free and by appointment only.

Ronnie Castellano
Guitar Instructor
My name is Ronnie Castellano and I am a contemporary guitar instructor. I teach at my home studio in Beulaville.

I have been teaching all ages, from 7 year olds to 92, for over 30 years. My goal as an instructor is not to just teach songs, but to let the students understand how to play music in general and how to pull from their favorite artists to find their musical voice.

Hope to meet you soon!!

It has been a pleasure to learn how to play a guitar. I would have never thought I would be that person who could. Thanks so much Ronnie. You are an amazing teacher. If I could learn , then any one can☺ thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to fulfil my long life dream.

My lessons always go well. They are always enjoyable and educational. I can't think of anything that could be better. I feel like I get more than my money's worth and that Mr. Castellano really cares about your learning.

Ronnie Castellano is the best! He has taken this "mature" person with absolutely no musical experience and is teaching her to play a very difficult instrument that she has always wanted to learn. He is patient, has a great sense of humor, listens to what you say and what music you want to learn. When he senses that you're not getting a concept, he tries one or many other different ways to get it across. Always generous with his time and his incredible knowledge of music. So happy to be one of his students :-)

By far the best teacher around. I don't think that I would've stuck with it if hadn't been for him. He places lots of emphasis on the basics which lays the groundwork for future success. And like Mr. Holland, he stresses that playing music should be fun. He knows when to push and when to hold back. An excellent teacher, I would highly recommend him to any one interested in learning to play guitar.
