We have several music teachers, all with either University or equivalent training and professional performance experience. Our music instructors are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. With more than one teacher for every instrument, we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our instructors have warm personalities, are friendly, personable, and dedicated to teaching you the style of music you want to learn.Our facility is stocked with all the materials and instruments you need for music lessons to insure proper learning. This includes amplifiers, stereos, full drum kits with pads, keyboards, pianos, and more. We just ask you to bring your instrument. If a situation occurs that prevents you from bringing your instrument, no problem. We have loaner guitars, violins, clarinets, drum sticks, and various other instruments available to use in the store. There's also no need to drive all around Tampa and Wesley Chapel to insure you have the proper instrument, books, and materials before you start your first lesson. You can purchase everything you need right at Tampa Fine Arts Academy.

Piano Lessons

Our piano teachers teach a variety of styles from classical to popular music. Whether you want to learn a classical sonatina, rock chords, or popular sheet music, our teachers are happy to help you become the pianist you want to be. Our piano faculty will show you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique and theory, but they will also incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons. Our piano teachers have warm personalities and enjoy sharing their love for the piano with you.
Guitar Lessons

Our guitar teachers teach rock, blues, metal, country and classical guitar lessons on electric and acoustic guitars. Beginner students can expect to work on chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading, and theory. We balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson you are challenged with a new technical or theory concept, but always end with something fun such as your favorite riff or song. We use a variety of guitar method books to accomplish this and encourage students to bring CDs or their iPod to their lesson to learn their favorite tunes.

Our private voice teachers primarily focus on popular music and musical theatre songs. If you have always wanted to be a better rock, pop, country, jazz, gospel, theatre, or R&B singer, then we have the right voice teachers for you!
Voice students spend time each week doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more.

Drum
Report
Our drum instructors will teach rock, metal, jazz, funk, blues and many other styles. Drum language can be complex and our instructors will challenge any drummer with a wide variety of technical exercises designed to improve your speed and comfort. All drummers may bring in their favorite drum parts to learn in their lessons and theory is encouraged.

Today was my daughters first day after her previous lesson company closed down due to covid. From day one I can already note a vast difference! I was happy with the previous company, it got the job done but it wasn't the music lesson company of my dreams. I also tried to remind myself that I'm not preparing her to play alongside Andrea bocelli ( in other words convincing myself to lower standards).
This company surpassed my expectations. Well thought out lesson structure, supportive and friendly environment. Director and assistant manager incredibly thorough and professional. Hands down best piano lesson academy.

I would definitely recommend taking music lessons at Tampa Fine Arts Academy. They are an amazing school, and have such amazing, kind, fun teachers! The teachers allow their students to practice any (appropriate) songs they like. You can do lessons in person, or even on Zoom from your bedroom. They are a very fun, cool, environment, and have very talented teachers and students. I couldn't recommend them more!

Tampa Fine Arts has been especially easy to work with given the challenges of the last few months! Now that my son is able to gain hands-on piano training, the whole team has been so kind and welcoming to us. My son has excelled quickly thanks to Eric's flexible and individualized teaching method. Larry and Jenny are always easy to speak with and make us feel as though we've been with Tampa Fine Arts for years! I highly recommend them for aspiring musicians and students of all ages!

Such an amazing and dynamic school! My son had a little previous experience with percussion but wanted to learn piano. He had some familiarity with reading music so we didnt know where to begin. We got matched with a wonderful teacher for our son. Ms. Valerie is able to really personalize the lessons according to his ability (even providing him with her own books/music!) to keep his interest up and keep him on track - his OWN track.
His progress has been impressive. All the teachers here are so kind, encouraging, talented and flexible. We cant say enough great things about Mr Bigel and this school. Highly recommend!

This school makes music lessons fun for the kids by teaching them music they are actually interested in. Everyone is so nice here. When my daughter injured herself and I wasn't happy with the options for make-up classes, the owner personally reached out to make sure we could work something out. We are looking forward to coming back!

We have two kids here and could not be happier with their drum and violin teachers. They are friendly, supportive, but will challenge your musicians (very important to us). They both love music and have connected with their teachers very well. Staff is super fun, helpful and very professional! Thank you!

We’re so grateful we found you guys. Our son, Stefan, LOVES playing drums, and really likes Mr. Evan! He challenges him, pushes him and calls him out! We’re especially grateful that our kids get to do their lessons virtually, and that they have something to look forward to every week! I would recommend this music academy with all of my heart. It’s one of the best decisions we made for our kiddos!

My daughter has been taking guitar lessons at TFA for the past year, and she has grown so much as a student and musician. My son also took drums lessons for 4 years. Their respective instructors, John and Evan, have been a great fit for them. Their easy-going demeanor and work ethic have helped my kids grow their love for music. Good place for kids to learn and love music.

I started taking lessons as an adult and did not know what to expect. The teacher they assigned me is perfect. Learning music has been a great adventure and helps keep my mind sharp. Awesome Place – Tampa Fine Arts Academy is a high quality place for musical instruction. Every instructor and employee show great attention and compassion to everyone the minute they walk through the door. Larry Bigel, the owner, is a fantastic guy who will always treat you like a great friend. The atmosphere is great for individuals of all ages.
My personal experience has been nothing short of amazing. My bass guitar instructor is a very knowledgeable musician who encourages me to ask questions.
