Adventures in Music I believe that we are all musical in our own way. I am more concerned about the heart of the student than the "talent" a person might have. Talent is great! but the LOVE to play the music is what will drive the person to achieve and be dedicated to their studies.

I want my students to be interested in music. To have that sense of wonder and to get deeply in tune with the whole concept of learning to play the instrument and understand what is on the paper, so when they play, they can enjoy beautiful sounds.
I do my best to always encourage and never allow negative attitudes to take over, I CAN'T is not allowed in my Studio! I am firm but use a lot of humor and hugs.

I take pride when my students develop self confidence, advance to higher levels and most of all when they find peace and joy in their music.

Ms. Marta has been my piano teacher for almost five years now and she has taught me so much more than how to play piano. Her dedication, passion, and enthusiasm are inspiring.

Ms. Marta (or Ms. Soto) is the best music teacher I have ever had. I came to her when I was a high school freshman, with only three years of piano experience and have gone through two piano teachers. Never before have I met such a fun, energetic, loving, and caring person in my entire life! I have learned so much from her and continue to learn so much from her even outside the of piano lessons. I'm proud to say Ms. Marta is a great friend of mine who puts family, her students, music, and God close to her heart.

Ms. Soto is extremely energetic, wonderful with kids and makes learning the piano fun. She rewards the kids for their accomplishments through little prizes and for recitals, each child goes home with a trophy (my child hates going up in front of people, but once he heard about the trophy it only took a 1/2 second for him to say "yes"!). We had tried another piano teacher that just didn't seem to know how to teach - not the problem here. We feel very lucky to have Ms. Soto in our son's life.
