Piano Lessons
Report
Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, we have an instructor who can suit your needs and help you develop into a well-rounded musician. Our piano program is geared toward expression and underlying theory of pieces. Let's Play Music own standard piano method, Let's Play Jazz and More. series, has all the instruction of a traditional piano lesson method using fun and current song styles while teaching concepts not traditionally taught in piano lessons such as writing music, improvising, arranging, playing by ear and more. Material for students is selected with the goal of enhancing the student's natural capabilities while making concepts fun and accessible. Our instructors are proficient in different musical styles and can accommodate a variety of interests and goals. What makes our approach unique is that our students begin learning about all aspects of piano playing from the start, including improvisation, arranging, note reading, chords, scales, and more.

Some of the many styles we offer include rock, folk, blues, jazz, country and classical. You will learn guitar chords, scales and phrasing, as well as guitar techniques such as bending, vibrato and improvisation. You will also develop skills in rhythm guitar accompaniment and reading music notation. Whether you're a fan of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Eddie Van Halen, Chet Atkins, Duane Allman or BB King, our instructors will provide you with the tools to sound like a pro!

Using proper technique to ensure vocal health, you will experience training on breathing, tone and emotional expression as well as sight reading, ear training and music theory skills. All-State and theater audition preparation is available.
Weekly sight singing and theory classes and a monthly vocal workshop series are included with tuition. Our choral, a capella groups, and rock bands allow students to enhance their performance skills and stage presence. Both of our children (3 and 4 years of age) are enrolled in the music classes and we are extraordinarily impressed with the program, level of instruction, and the school in general. The teachers are professional, warm, and our children love attending class each week. We have noticed great improvement in our children's overall ability since they have been attending the school. Much more than just a music program, these classes have developed motor skills, attention-span, and confidence. We highly recommend this program!

This is a great way to introduce music to your little ones. I’ve been taking my precious 18 month old Church grandson Caleb and he adores the interaction with the other children and all the different musical experiences he’s having with this class Kindermusik! Miss Holly is so excellent with the children.

What a wonderful program! We're so happy we chose LPM. The instructors are fabulous; all accomplished musicians/vocalists in their own right. Each of them that I've had the pleasure of interacting with is also gifted in guiding and encouraging children. Your child will receive excellent instruction with their chosen instrument or vocals. They will receive positive reinforcement from ALL of the staff as well as the advanced students. Jay and Jeanne Latulippe have fostered a safe, nurturing environment embraced and employed by staff and fellow students alike.

We have been with Let's Play Music for over 5 years. The caring, nurturing, and amazingly knowledgeable faculty and staff have facilitated tremendous growth in our children, both musically and individually. Our children's musical ability and confidence have steadily progressed over the years, but, most importantly, they love music. I am repeatedly amazed at how the school has the ability to meet the needs of individual students with varied learning styles and interests.
In addition to all the wonderful teachers, the Latulippes are so warm and wonderful they make you feel like part of the Let's Play Music family. We are grateful to them for the wonderful experience they have given us all.
