North Fulton School of Music has a great new course that can help you get what you want out of your compositions.
North Fulton School of Music can help you put it all together. Our experienced instructors will help you bring out and give shape to your very own song, helping you to build and apply specific skill sets including:
- Understanding song form how to arrange intros, verses, choruses and bridges.
- Writing lyrics - how to put your thoughts on paper and make them work in a song.
- Creating and adapting melodies how to write melodies that flow and keep people listening.
- Building chord progressions- learn to use chords that complement and accentuate each other.
- Creating catchy hooks - make listeners remember your song.
- Collaborating how to work with a writing partner or complementary musician.
Each student will write and rehearse at least one original song during each weekly session.
At the completion of classwork, each student will get a get an introduction to the studio environment (in our very own professional recording facility, Lucky Dog Studios) and talk about the technologies and processes that could be used to record their songs. Each student will also perform their original song at special Open Mic at the end of the week.
Note: Studio time is intended to give students an introduction to the recording process and techniques, not to record. Students interested in building upon work completed in this introductory course can contact North Fulton School of Music about scheduling studio time.

NFSM is a fantastic establishment , we have taking lessons here for more than 6 years and it’s by far one of the best things that we could have done for our child! When we came here for the first time we met with the owner Sadi who was very helpful and understanding and connected us to Miss Gail Grier, our daughter’s voice teacher ,who is second to none.
My daughter absolutely loves learning to sing with Miss Gail , her classes are both fun and instructive and she lets her choose her genre of interest to keep things exciting. My daughter who was a little shy at first now looks forward to performing at recitals and all the various music events that NFSM is part of and we have seen her grow not only her musical talent but also her confidence. There is nothing like being in an environment with kids all with the same passion for music learning together. Highly recommend !

Love this place. I've taken lessons at other music lesson schools but none have been as clean, polite, and caring as North Fulton. Big difference between this place and others is the performance events they do like open mics, karaokes, and more formal recitals. I love doing the open mics, the recitals aren't my thing but it would be great if I had kids.
They have a lot of teachers on staff so make sure you discuss your goals and what you're looking for and they can guide you to a great teacher. I rarely write reviews but just needed to after seeing that they go beyond for their clients. They even let me borrow their PA gear for my own gig.

I've been in and out of piano lessons with this school, and environment never changes. A building filled with genuine people that will teach you the instrument of desire. Every room has a piano that I believe might come from Cooper Piano, which is a family owned business for pianos and the staff is great. If you ever have thought about taking Piano lessons, then i would recommend Matthew Kaminski if you're within the perimeter, Or Alla Bychkovaya if you're closer to the Alpharetta location.

We have been EXTREMELY satisfied with North Fulton School of Music! My daughter has taken lessons for the past 4 years and is now a recording artist! She has grown tremendously with the help of this school. From guitar and vocal lessons to artist development and professional recording of music, we have taken advantage of many opportunities the school has to offer. Staff is very friendly and engaging -they really care about their students! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My two daughters have been part of North Fulton School of Music for a few years and I can honestly say that it has been the greatest thing I have ever done. Under new management I strongly believe that it has been for the best, the owner shows interest in what goes on, makes everyone feel welcome. Both of my girls have Ms. Gail as their teacher and I can also say she has been wonderful. If you ever decide to put your child in music please stop by North Fulton School of Music and check out the location you will not regret it.
