Report
If you choose to become a part of Brazos Music Group, you will have a standing appointment each week on the same day and time. Lessons are 45-minutes in length. If you desire, you may take two lessons per week.
Each month is paid in advance, but other than that there is no long-term commitment. Also, it is possible to take both piano and voice in one 45-minute session, although this may slow down the student’s overall progress.
The first session is always FREE and there is no obligation or pressure to continue.
If you need to reschedule your lesson, you may do so if you provide 24 hours notice.
In addition to the cost of the sessions is your materials, which will vary depending on your goals and the learning track you are on.

Scott is a talented musician and teacher who can help anyone begin or continue developing their vocal/piano skills. Over the last year, he has not only been a mentor but also become a friend. I’ve never been more comfortable learning and performing than during his lessons. Without a doubt, I’m a better singer today than when I started with Scott.

Scott is an enthusiastic teacher who is effective in teaching piano to a diverse group of students. He possesses a special ability to connect and relate to his students in all stages of life and learning, from beginners to more advanced students who want to benefit from his vast storehouse of knowledge and experience. I had lost interest in playing by ear so I determined to take lessons to learn how to read music.
After 16 months with Scott, I am amazed that I can read music and play… even classical piano. I have been challenged and blessed – the rewards are great -a sense of accomplishment and joy in learning.

I have been taking lessons from Scott for a few months now. Since day one, Scott has been able to identify exactly what it is that I need to work on to improve and has my lesson prepared and waiting for me at my weekly lesson. He is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, supportive, complimentary and encouraging…and he’s a very good piano and voice teacher. 5 STARS! I highly recommend.

I always dreamed of playing the piano but did not know this opportunity was available. I am a retired teacher but still have busy days taking care of others. When I read about lessons with Scott I surprised myself by signing up. That was two years ago. Scott will take you from the beginning and before you know it you are playing. When the time comes he will find the style of music you like and will work with you at your own pace.
But most important you enjoy it. You have a good time! Scott is patient, has a sense of humor, and will work with you and your schedule. The only regret you will have is not giving these lessons a try!

Brazos Music Group helped me grow so much as a musician. With a detailed curriculum demonstrating an emphasis on both music theory and autonomy of practice, I was able to start with piano basics and move to playing songs that I enjoy learning. The encouragement and positivity of each lesson, coupled with the enthusiasm and passion Scott has for teaching, really make for an environment conducive to learning. I am so happy I chose Brazos Music Group!
