From beginning to advanced, traditional to experimental, we offer on-site lessons in comfortable studios for guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele, piano, music theory, and songwriting. Lessons are available seven days a week. We also produce winter and spring recitals at relaxed and local venues that are exciting for everyone!

Lessons are designed for each student. Let's face it, the guy who wants to melt faces at the lip of an arena stage has different goals than the guy wanting to lead worship at his local church. It also goes without saying that the gal who wants to accompany herself while singing at weddings has different goals than the mom who just wants to play songs for her kids.

The piano is the best, isn't it? I mean, you can play and sing at the same time! You can wow audiences with your classical chops, knock them out with your boogie-woogie licks, or bring a tear to someone's eye with a soul-jerking ballad. Who wouldn't want to play the piano? We know that there are a ton of folks out there to learn piano from.

Quick Wins - It is so easy to learn the ukulele that we could probably talk you out of the need for lessons on it. If it's good enough for Twenty-One Pilots, to Grace VanderWaal, to Eddie Vedder, what is keeping you from learning how to play? Just a phone call, buddy!

My nephew takes guitar lessons here and when I asked him how it was going he said "great, but I wish I could go more often". How often does a 9 year old want to take lessons more often? He says his teacher explains things to him so he "gets it" - you can't get higher praise than that! As an adult student learning a new instrument, I really appreciated how well Tim customized my lessons to fit my individual goals and schedule. I would highly recommend Lincoln School of Music.

Tim makes our child feel like a rockstar - from his "this should be fun and not another chore" approach to music education to sending birthday notes with a signed guitar pick. I feel good having my son learn from someone who isn't demanding he be the best or perfect, but rather fostering a love of playing an instrument and of music more generally. It's a great studio to work with!

We LOVE Lincoln School of Music. Our now 7 year old son took ukulele lessons for just over a year and has grown enough to switch to electric guitar and has enjoyed it all, especially writing his "own songs" with A LOT of Tim's help. Our 6 year just started drums and is enjoying himself as well. Tim is an INCREDIBLE teacher and very much adapts to meet the needs and goals of the student. We couldn't be more pleased with every experience we've had with Lincoln School of Music!

Tim is an excellent player and teacher. He helped me grow not only in my guitar playing ability, but also my knowledge of music in general. He worked very hard to keep giving me new material week in and week out, always bringing his best to each lesson. Tim helps his students set clear, defined goals as well. I am very grateful for my experience at the Lincoln School of Music! 10/10 would recommend to any player, or anyone interested in trying to learn a musical instrument.

I cannot recommend Lincoln School of Music highly enough! When seeking for a music teacher with knowledge of music, collaboration with families, appropriate teaching philosophy, and energy - Tim gets a 10 out of 10. My son begged us for months to participate in guitar lessons, and being a little young at the age of 6, Tim has embraced him, his ability, and catered the lessons to his age level. We are so appreciative and look forward to his lesson every week!

Love what Tim does with the students. It's not all about the music. This is a confidence builder as well. Our son is pretty shy but wanted to start learning guitar. After 8 weeks, he was on stage by himself for the Winter Concert playing in front of about 100 people playing his song. Great way to watch your kids grow as musicians and people. Keep it up Tim!

Tim is the best guitar teacher I could imagine. My daughter and I started lessons earlier this year. I have some experience playing, but she had none. I have gotten much better and have learned songs that I love to hear and play which makes learning fun. He tucks in theory when it makes sense, but the learning is more of a practical approach with quick results.
My daughter has enjoyed learning from him as well as she learns songs that interest her while learning the basics. Tim is flexible with lesson slots as well. We couldn't be happier with our experience.

I was nervous to try and learn guitar after years of putting it on the back burner, but Tim made me feel comfortable and threw me right into the basics. He was realistic about helping me where I'm at and showed a genuine excitement that I wanted to learn. It's hard to fail when you have a great teacher!
