If you're reading this, you already have half of the equipment. All that's left is to get any keyboard or piano. That's it. Many students will also find that it helps to have access to a printer to print out the worksheets, but we'll display those on the screen too. And if you have a way to record video (like a smartphone or iPad or webcam) then you'll be able to submit videos of yourself to get personalized feedback.
Jamin is a highly skilled professional. He is consistent with his teaching styles but can adapt to meet all of his students needs. I would highly recommend Mr. Coller to teach anyone. It would make a great gift. As someone in my 30's who decided to learn on a whim I was not sure what to expect or how long it would take me to learn.

If you are looking for a dynamic music education experience that fosters creativty and fun, then this is the place! Jamin has been working with our son on a variety of instruments for 4 1/2 years(he started when he was 7 years old)! He has always supported our son's musical journey with amazing encouragement and engagement that has helped him become incredibly knowledgeable about not just how to play a song, but so much more! Not Your Grandma's Piano Lessons! Jamin has been teaching all three of my kids for over two years. They all three still love playing piano and look forward to their lesson times. Jamin is friendly, listens to his students, and really does work with kids where they are at. From day one, the kids pick their songs. When my kids have asked for TV show or video game themes, classic or modern rock, pirate shanties, or whatever - he has shared their enthusiasm, created their music and used it as a teaching experience to push their skills and musical knowledge forward. Jamin also lets kids know it's about the learning - not just the mastery. Mistakes are awesome opportunities for learning. Persistence trumps talent.

My son is two years into lessons and I couldn't be more impressed. My son looks forward to going to lessons and gets a deep sense of satisfaction as the music he learns grows in complexity. Recently, Jamin took one of the songs on his wish list and broke it down into the twelve bar blues. As my son learned the chords, he taught him how to listen to other songs with a similar base and to apply the 12 bar blues formula. Jamin doesn't just teach piano. He deepens a child's love and understanding of the musical world in an empowering way. Thank you, "Jammin' J, " as my son has nicknamed him.

Jamin is a talented and special music teacher. my daughter LOVES going to her weekly piano lessons. The types of songs she can play motivates her to want to practice single every day, which I think is awesome! I'm so glad we found Jamin. Thank you! I couldn't be happier with progress My oldest son is making in piano! He is inspired and excited about lessons every week. Jamin has an amazing reward and point system for his students that reminds me of "winning" at a video game. It has really kept him excited and enthusiastic to play. My son is 10, and the waiting room environment at Jamin's is so welcoming and comfy for the entire family. It doesn't feel like a chore to bring him to his lessons.

My daughter takes piano lessons with Jamin at Milestones Music and our experience has been amazing. There are so many positive aspects to taking lessons with Jamin. He allows students to choose the material they want to play which makes learning fun and enjoyable. He is always helpful and positive. My daughter can't wait to go see him each week.

My daughter has taken piano lessons from Jamin for 2 1/2 years (she is currently 12 years old). She absolutely loves going to her weekly lesson and is learning very cool musical skills such as how to change the key of a favorite song (to fit her vocal range since she loves to sing while she plays). She loves getting to pick her songs each week and stays motivated to practice!

This is my third attempt at formal lessons for piano and Jamin has an uncommonly professional setup. Jamin keeps it positive and graciously shares alot or a little of his skillset when the appropriate opportunity presents itself. And he doesn't mind repeating himself, which helps alot too. Highly recommended.
