I have been studying music for most of my life and began teaching when I was 16. I have been given to opportunity to learn from some of the best musicians and teachers around. I regularly give performances throughout the Cincinnati area, as well as in surrounding states. I earned a bachelors of music in Guitar performance at The College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. While there I was able to meet musicians with different approaches to music and broaden my perspective on the way that I played and taught. I have taught students of all ages and skill levels and have been able to watch my students meet goals of all sorts in lessons. One of the studios that I teach at was also recognized in the category or "Best Music Instruction" by Cincy Magazine.
If you have never picked up an instrument before, I would love to introduce you to the basics of music as well as the guitar. If you have played some guitar, or another instrument, and are looking to hone your skills and maximize your potential, it would be my pleasure to help you along that track.

It is my desire to give my students the instruction and resources necessary to be well rounded musicians. This goes beyond learning where to put one's fingers to a comprehensive understanding of the instrument and how it fits into the larger picture of music. I consider it my job to give students all of the tools that they need to play in whatever style they choose.

Excellent teacher! He is helping me with tempo and have taught me new ways of playing the guitar. He cares about hands position in the guitar in order to play the guitar in a comfortable and efficient way. Also, he tells you what you are doing wrong in a very subtle way. You can tell he really enjoys teaching people how to play guitar remembering the basics and showing anyone can play guitar with practice, dedication and passion.
