As a firm believer in the power that music has to change and unify us, Andrea has dedicated her career to music education. She began her violin studies at the age of 4 with her mother who is also a Suzuki Violin teacher. While raised in a musically nurturing environment, Andrea developed her love and passion for both music and children.Andrea earned her Bachelor of Music Degree in Violin Performance from Northern Illinois University, where she studied under Marie Wang of the Avalon Quartet. During her four years there she was awarded the School of Music Merit Scholarship.

Chacon String Studio provides violin lessons for students by employing the Suzuki method and other traditional techniques. Students will receive a weekly private lesson in an environment where they are set up for success every step of the way. Note reading skills, tone production, solo work and other various techniques will be included during the lessons.

My son has been a student to many violin teachers and she stands out among them. She trained him for Suzuki violin at the Tampa Suzuki Strings. She always put something extra for him, very patient and extremely talented. On our special request she even taught him some Indian music tunes too which was beyond our expectation. Her way of teaching was always so easy and encouraging that my son never found it hard to learn any new tune. She is one of the best violin teachers, very professional and highly talented. We really miss her classes. I would highly recommend her!
