We provide private violin lessons to students age 3.5-adult. We provide Suzuki group classes as well as Intermediate and Advanced Violin Ensembles. We also provide many performance opportunities for our students, including two large, full studio recitals per year and several smaller mini recitals. Many of our students are members of the All South Jersey Orchestra, All State Orchestra, Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, and the Philadelphia Sinfonia.

Exceptional violin lessons from premier violin teachers Mary and Marco Lucchi in Cherry Hill, NJ. Founded by husband and wife team Marco & Mary Lucchi, Lucchi Violin Studio offers private and group violin lessons to students ages 3.5 and up of all ability levels, beginner to advanced, in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Our students have weekly violin lessons (30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on age and ability). Mary earned her Master's Degree in Violin Performance from the Esther Boyer College of Music at Temple University, where she was a scholarship recipient and graduate teaching assistant. She earned her bachelor's Degree in violin performance and music education from Rowan University, where she was awarded the W. Clarke Pfleeger medallion award for excellence in music.Mary is a registered Suzuki teacher and trained under Stevie Sandven at the Ithaca Suzuki Institute, and Carrie Reuning at the Philadelphia Suzuki Institute.
Our studio offers students the opportunity to participate and perform in violin ensemble classes. We offer year round group classes for the beginner and intermediate levels every other week on Saturday mornings, and partial year classes for advanced students that usually meet on Sunday evenings. Giving children the opportunity to perform the violin in a non judgemental, friendly environment has many benefits.
Suzuki lessons recommended for all beginners under age 8, but we also offer traditional lessons as well. Musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability which can be developed. Any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability, just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue.

My daughter has been taking violin lessons with Miss Mary since she was almost four years old. We moved out of cherry hill area when she was six. However my daughter insisted to continue violin lessons with Miss Mary, so we have been traveling an hour one way every week for her lesson (but well worth of the time!). We were very impressed by the approach that Miss Mary has been taken to teach young students.
She is able to keep young students to stay engaged and have fun while learning. Miss Mary is also very good at teaching students at all grades with different levels of competency. My daughter is 12 now and very proud of herself playing at her middle school's orchestra and chamber (first violin at 6th grade's concert)! Highly recommend Lucchi violin studio!
