Weekly lessons are encouraged since they aid the student in steady, lasting growth.
If you are unable to schedule weekly lessons or need a flexible schedule I am happy to accommodate your needs.

This studio was created as an outlet to share my passion and knowledge of the cello. While my original intention remains to help musicians improve, being able to brighten a student's day and encourage my students to be better individuals has become the main goal of the studio. In addition to in person lessons, I am pleased to be able to also offer online lessons via Skype. Please choose which way you would like to meet and we can coordinate the details accordingly.
Virtual Lessons do not compare to being in person, to being in the same room. I do not mean virtual lessons are not as effective as in person lessons. I watched all of my students progress in exciting ways through virtual learning in 2020 and the beginning of 2021 and I am happy to provide this method of teaching to you.
All lessons for the month must be scheduled by the last Wednesday of the previous month. For example, all lessons for the month of October need to be scheduled and confirmed by the last Wednesday of September. It is generally expected that a student will have lessons on the same day of the week and at the same time.

As an adult beginner, I have really been enjoying my lessons over the past 5 months with Megan. Since I began, I have noticed substantial improvement in the way I sound and my confidence with the cello. Megan puts a lot of emphasis on technique and having a "beautiful sound", which I feel is important for this instrument. Very highly recommended for both in-person or remote lessons!

Mrs. Megan has been a blessing to our son. He's in the 6th grade and has been getting consistent lessons from her for almost a year now. We see tremendous improvement in him since under her instruction. She is patient and thorough and we believe that our son will be taken to the next level with the Cello thanks to Mrs. Megan. She truly cares and is more than just a teacher. Overall she is an amazingly talented person to know. Highly recommend no matter what your current level is, Mrs. Megan is your best choice.

Megan is a professional instructor who relates easily to her students and their family. She is very accommodating and understanding of schedules and work loads of her students. Megan works at the pace a student needs and is willing to help them prepare for cello related activities outside of lessons. That said, she challenges her students to to achieve at a very high level and wants them to reach for the music stars! We love Megan.
