I teach the whole musician. We'll do ear training, cover music theory, and find performance opportunities. If you don't have a flute yet, I will help you find the right instrument for you.I teach 45-minute and 60-minute lessons. We can't fit it all into a half hour! The lesson rate is $30 for 45 minutes or $37 for 60 minutes if you come to my flute studio near Sevier Middle School, Greenville, SC. I can come to you at an additional cost.

I will either find or make the exercises and music that you need. I will also help you find the right instrument and other items you need like a metronome tuner. I will create performance opportunities for you. And I'll teach you more about music than just playing the notes on the page. There's more to flute than just practicing the next recital piece.
I always treat the parent's money as if it is my own and will only recommend truly necessary instruments and learning materials. But the music family should understand that there are a number of upfront and continuing expenses when committing to flute lessons. The largest upfront expense is the flute itself.
Tuition for each semester is $175 and is due at or before the first class of both semesters. Each student will be provided with a spiral bound workbook and a customized binder that contains extra printed learning activities. Since aural skills is an important component of music learning, you will also be given access to online ear training activities for homework.

Hello, I'm Teacher Charity! I was a music education major with a flute principal at BJU in Greenville, SC. Then I did my graduate degree in music education while I taught music in Atlanta.
