I am blown away by the talent and the passion that radiates from this musical family. And I am truly touched by their enthusiasm to share their love for music with others. Josh has been teaching my children for years and has inspired a passion within them that is undeniable. Most recently, my son has been taking drum lessons at Ron Kaye's Music Instruction for two years, and I have watched him discover an ability to thrive at a musical instrument and develop confidence in himself and his own potential. Ron and Josh encourage him whenever he struggles and help him to stay focused and to always believe in himself. I couldn't be more grateful for the impact this entire family has had on my own. They truly go above and beyond and want to see their students excel. And Mrs. Kaye always greets us with a warm smile and is always accommodating to a flexible schedule. I always wanted to learn to play a drum set and never took the time to do that. Now that I am retired, I decided that I would go for it. I decided to use the internet and teach myself and quickly realized I needed an in-person instructor. I searched the internet for lessons in the area and found Ron Kaye's Music Instruction (RKMI). I started drum lessons in December 2021 and enjoyed the friendly approach to instruction so much, I began voice lessons with Mrs. Kaye a few months later. My lessons with them are the best part of my week. I feel appreciated and valued as a student and seen as an individual. When I don't practice, both Ron and Mrs. Kaye smile, mention that practice helps, and start teaching. There is never a sense of letting anyone down when I don't do the work. They both bring a kind hearted spirit to each lesson. Ron and Mrs. Kaye are committed to my learning the skills. They believe in me and tell me every week, and eventually, I was able to believe them and see for myself that I can do this. They encourage me when I struggle with challenges and are quick to point out when I do better. Their skill, knowledge and experience enable them to adjust to my needs in each lesson. When I am in the Pensacola area, I have in person lessons and when I go home, Ron and Mrs. Kaye conduct my lessons virtually. They run their business with a professionalism that is refreshing. They do their best to accommodate changes when I need to make them without compromising the integrity of their business. Overall, my experience with Ron Kaye's Music Instruction is solid, reliable fun. I practice more these days and I am still learning. The Kayes know that playing a musical instrument and singing a song creates positive changes in people. They share that passion with anyone who wants to learn, even a 65-year-old retired teacher.

I have 4 children who have been taking piano lessons with Mrs. Kaye since October 2019. From March 2020, we started taking virtual lessons and have continued these even after moving away from Pensacola. We have not had any issues with the virtual lessons and would recommend them for anyone with access to a computer or cell phone. Mrs. Kaye has been a phenomenal piano teacher, and all my children have greatly exceeded our expectations in terms of how far they have come in just 9 months. They enjoy their lessons each week and take a sense of pride in applying themselves.

I have been taking Banjo lessons now for about two and a half years. I am a 70 year old beginner. In that period of time, I had to have 6 surgeries on my right hand ( the one that make a banjo sound like a banjo). Joshua Kaye has been extremely patient, and has developed lessons which meet my needs as I heal ( and re-heal, and re-heal). With guidance from Ron Kaye's Music, I am slowly becoming a banjo player.

They very knowledgeable about music. I have osteoarthritis in my fingers and they are patient and helpful in working with me on how to play the guitar. It is very good therapy for my hands. It hurt my fingers at first but it is getting better every day.

The family that owns and operates this music studio are amazing and I couldn't think of a better family to receive music lessons from. Josh Kaye teaches both of my daughter's guitar, my oldest on the electric and my youngest on the acoustic. I have always believed that music in and of itself is therapeutic for the soul but having such positive and caring people being the teachers impacts people in an almost spiritual way. You are not going to find a music business anywhere that not only gives the gift of music but truly cares for each and every one of their students as this family does.

Best Music teachers in the world. Thank you so very much for helping my two kids learn an instrument. This was years ago and they are way up into their 20s now with children of their own and my daughter is a school teacher and son is also a professional in his line of work. My sons been a student of Ron Kaye's for over six months. My son really has trouble staying motivated and He is not the easiest person to teach but Ron and Josh really worked hard to get him where he is now. I honestly don't think he would be still playing if not for this school! Ron Kaye's really care if their students learn! The amount of effort they put into recitals and awards and just making the kids feel special really sets them apart.

Their rates are very competitive if not more reasonable considering that their lessons are an hour and other competitive music instruction is only a half an hour. My advice to any parent looking to get their child into music would be to definitely sign on with Ron Kaye's!

Amazing group of teachers that are very kind and professional. Mrs. Kaye put a recorder in my 5th graders hand and now he plays the saxophone in high school. Mrs. Kaye and music has changed my son's life in a positive way and for that I will be forever grateful!

I love taking piano lessons from Mrs. Kaye. She makes it fun and stress free. She and her son, Joshua, are both music teachers at elementary schools in the Escambia County school district. They are patient and always want the best out of their students. The cost of lessons is reasonable and I look forward to going to my lessons each week. I've been taking banjo lessons from Josh Kaye for about 18 months. I started with essentially zero musical talent. I still have absolutely no musical talent but I can dang sure play the banjo! Seriously, Josh has been patient throughout, starting with the most basic concepts and skills and coaching/coaxing me to a level now where I can play some songs at reasonable speeds. Josh just keeps showing me that I am capable of more than I thought. I highly recommend Ron Kaye's Music Instruction. They are excellent music teachers.

My Daughter has been taking guitar lessons since she was 7 years old. She is doing very well now. I am proud to say that she has learned quite a few songs and even plays around trying to make her own music sometimes. She receives lessons from Josh Kaye. He is an excellent teacher. Haley does well most of the time but when she starts to get a little lazy Josh always has words of wisdom that get her back on track.

I can't think of a better company to give lessons to kids. They are always patient and very understanding. I really appreciate the way they give us other things to do with our practice to help with learning the music. Haley has come a long way.

My granddaughter has been a student at Ron Kaye for 8 1/2 years now! We are so very happy with the education she has received and the advancements she has made on the piano! She has competed in talent competitions and done very well. The instruction she receives is not only how to play the piano and the theory involved, but also, knowledge of the great composers of the classics.

As my granddaughter has grown over the years, we have also watched the children of the Kaye family grow and mature into great teachers like their parents. The Kaye's are a wonderful Christian family and we would recommend them to anyone interested in developing their talent, no matter what instrument you choose to play.
