My almost 9 year old has been with New World Music Academy & Miss Kiki Lieow since she was 4. She has received a fantastic all around education in music (piano), learning to proficiently read notes, finger positioning, and theory. And our friends and family have thoroughly enjoyed winter and spring recitals.

My 6 year old boy loves to play piano. When we moved to Pleasanton we had no clue where to go for music sessions but we found new world music academy. We were not sure that it would be good choice or not, then we met Mr. Calhoun o'loughlin. Ved was so shy at his first class, after 2 or 3 classes, he was so comfortable. Mr. Calhoun is a very talented, very calm and friendly teacher. Ved is learning good techniques and he is always excited to go to piano class. he loves Mr. Calhoun's music lessons. Our two boys have the absolute joy of learning piano each week from our incredible teacher, Mr. Calhoun O'Loughlin. Cal is a remarkable, inspiring teacher, pianist and musician. He engages his students and makes learning music fun and creative! His passion and creativity for playing the piano is joyful and shines through in his teaching. Our boys appreciate his positive and encouraging style and they have never been so inspired to learn piano and enjoy doing it!

My daughter takes voice lessons with Ms. Kathrine. She has always been into musical theatre and really wants to strengthen her singing to gain more confidence with it, and Ms. Kathrine is helping her accomplish that. We like that there's a recital twice a year so the children get a chance to be in front of a crowd, show off what they've been working on, and also work on those nerves. One more thing my daughter really likes is that Ms. Kathrine includes music theory in her voice lessons.

My son has had the pleasure of learning piano from an amazing teacher Ms. Kim at this school. Not only is she a great teacher, but she is also an incredible pianist. My son has learned so much from her and has made great progress in his piano playing. Her passion for music is contagious and she has a unique ability to make learning fun and engaging. We highly recommend this school and my son's teacher Ms. Kim to anyone looking to learn piano.
