As a grandmother who wanted to give my grandson, Jackson, additional support in his early musical exploration, I decided to seek lessons with Mountainside Music Academy. I can say that so far everything is going well for him. Jackson is really enjoying his weekly trombone lessons with Zoe. She seems easy to work with, communicates well with him and is really supportive and encouraging while challenging him to be more bold in his play.
He likes to do well so it's nice to see him pushing himself to improve, she seems to be motivating him. He smiles and seems really happy when he talks about his lessons. He has even played a few "concerts" for the family. So far we are very pleased with the experience, and it is wonderful to see him enjoying playing his trombone.

I have had a few piano lessons with Jeremiah. What fun! I have five years of cello playing under my belt and he was really able to meet me and leverage my current musical skills and adapt to my learning style. Our lessons have been fun, engaging, and inspiring. I am looking forward to learning the piano!

We cant recommend our teacher, Krescent, from Mountainside Music enough. There just arent words! Our son was brand new to signing and pretty nervous - but he wanted to try it so we took a chance. Krescent is such a high level instructor and could teach a pro! But, she treated our newbie with respect and care and made him feel so comfortable. He has come so far over the summer! Its just priceless to hear him singing not only around the house now but ON STAGE! Thank you Krescent and thank you Mountainside Music!

Becca teaches our twin boys piano and they are thriving under her guidance. She gives them autonomy, support, and the techniques they need to excel. They always look forward to lessons and showing her what theyve accomplished. Weve done piano lessons elsewhere, and we are so happy we switched! Additionally, we were recommended to Mountainside Academy by friends who are learning piano and ukulele, and that family is also extremely pleased with their teacher.

Upon my retirement, having time on my hands, I decided to return to playing the piano after an absence from the instrument of almost 25 years. I had previously taken lessons as an adult learner and gained some limited proficiency, but had to quit as the demands of work and life took over. Now having spent the past couple of years coming back up to speed on the instrument, I felt that I could use some help to advance further than I had previously and contacted Mountainside Music Academy. Mountainside connected me to Paul Zeller, who now comes to my house weekly.
The experience has been fantastic. I love playing on my own piano and in surroundings in which I am comfortable. Paul is an excellent teacher: friendly, knowledgable, patient, and able to approach problems from a variety of different perspectives. As an adult learner, it's clear I will never be making waves as a musician - but, that's not really the point.
Some instructors, however, could see this and quickly lose interest in guiding my efforts. Not Paul, he approaches each lesson with passion and a sincere interest in helping me achieve as much as I can. I am really fortunately to have found him through Mountainside Music Academy.

We have LOVED our experience with Mountainside music. Our 13 year old is thriving in guitar, and she looks forward to every lesson because she excited to learn new techniques. She had been teaching herself over the past few years off and on, but Now with teaching and new techniques she doesnt want to out the guitar down. Our teacher is Daniel Florez, who does a fantastic job of encouraging her and showing her new proper technique so that she can go further. We live in Lafayette, Co. 100% recommend!

I cannot recommend Becca highly enough as a music instructor! She has been teaching our boys saxophone and piano for the past few months and we are so impressed with her professionalism and skill. My daughters have been with Mountainside for violin lessons for years and it has been nothing short of amazing. The convenience of having the instructors come to the house is great. Our current teacher, Theresa, is amazing with the girls. She helps to encourage excitement about playing and the kids practice willingly!

My son Luke has been with Mountainside taking piano lessons since this incredible academy opened! Originally Danit, who is the founder of this wonderful program was his instructor and for 4 years now he has had a few piano instructors all whom have been just perfect for my son. The love, professionalism, patience, instruction, and knowledge has helped my son really grow and develop a love for music that will honestly stay with him forever.
Currently his piano instructor, Andi, has so much passion and love for music and it reflects in how she teaches. He loves every week when she shows up for lessons!
