Established in 1994, we are a music school with well-seasoned, experienced, independent music teachers, who offer music lessons on various instruments. We promote the love of music and the arts in blending education and pleasure. Our students thrive in beautiful surroundings. We teach all ages - early childhood, youth, teens, adults, and seniors! Lessons on B has changed hands. The new proprietors are Irina Behrendt, Lessons on B piano instructor, and David Chernyavsky, violinist with San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.

Cynthia does piano and singing lessons and maybe other lessons, but those are the two I'm familiar with. My daughter has been taking piano lessons with her for about a year. At different times there's been one or two other students in the same class. You can also do private lessons, but at my daughter's age and level, the group lessons have worked out well. Cynthia is fantastic to watch with kids of all ages. She's patient and offers lots of encouragement.
She really seems to know how to work with kids to keep their interest and help them progress. She takes a holistic approach to piano where she teaches not just piano, but music in general.
